When ever i come in these fine folks always make me feel welcome and are able to help me out with any banking needs. I always leave smiling or laughing. WHAT A RACKET- THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU SHOULD INVESTIGATE CHARGING MEMBERS TO BELONG AND THRN CHARGING PEOPLE $10 TO CASH A CHECK THEY WRITE OF THEIR OWN MONEY!! SMH!! DISHONEST AND COMPLETELY RIPPING PEOPLE OFF

Leslie Caton Frey4Edit: The branch manager did make things right, and I'm changing my rating from 1 to 4 stars since this was the only negative experience we've had with them for years. My husband and I had been enthusiastically recommending Green State for the several years until today. My husband went in to dispute overdrafts due to issues with online banking and the manager, Matt Carpenter, was extremely rude. He implied my husband was lying ("If, in fact, you actually did try to check your account" with a sarcastic tone when their own site says they've been having trouble), belittled him for not keeping a "paper register" because online isn't reliable and then asking, "Do you expect us to just give away money?" and more. If they couldn't do anything, fine, but Matt Carpenter's behavior was humiliating and unnecessary in an already annoying situation.

Brianna Anderson1During covid, I understand staffing issues, however I do not understand why there are so many errors on our paperwork and issues contacting our loan officer when we are trying to close on our home in two weeks. We are first time home buyers and they offer no first time home buyer grant assistance. The lender we are in contact with is not very helpful and keeps getting information wrong, like our down payment. He keeps saying it is 3% when we had never stated this. Even on our loan application, we had literally never said 3% anywhere. He also keeps stating the wrong sale price of the home in our paperwork, even though our realtor had sent him the correct information multiple times. At this point it is very concerning to my husband and I that our closing date might be pushed back. This would be highly inconvenient to us as we will not have a home for who knows how long, since our current lease ends this month. If you are a first time home buyer looking for a financial institution to work with, I highly recomend doing research on other lenders in the area, as Green State will do very little to help you. We did not look into things well enough and are now in a bind in which we have to use them, since switching lenders at this point would require our closing date to be even later. We are not impressed with the services we have recieved and would recomend finding a lender who does more for first time home buyers, rather than being focused on their bottom line.

Mike was a great help, guiding us through all our options... taking into consideration our current financial situation, suggesting services that make sense and telling us why others won't work. He truly wanted to present us with only the options that save us money and not just selling us on something we don't need! Very good personal service! Even before we visited the branch, I chatted online with a representative who was very courteous and helpful. The products and services are very comparable to those of larger banks but with a personal touch. Very happy so far!

1 crazy game hunter4Don't have any real complaints however our credit card keeps on getting compromised but the credit union always makes it right but it seems a little weird that constantly being compromised from this location and not other banks that we have cards with.

Grace Daugherty5I've always been with UICCU, had wonderful experiences with every staff member, and never considered using another bank. Today I went and found I was making my last car payment! I wish I could remember my teller's name, but she congratulated me several times and seemed genuinely excited for me. To go in for a normal payment and then to be treated with such kindness was truly a blessing. She made my day and I'm almost bummed to not have a reason to visit once a month anymore! First time at this UICCU and this specific employee is why I will make this my bank location. Service=unmatched

Tony Ortiz1They blatantly stole $420 from my savings, and when I went in to see what happened, they told me I wasn’t getting that back when they admitted to taking it. Seriously don’t bank here it’s a scam. Edit: I went to the bank so you could hear me, and you disrespected me. If I were to call or email, I would just be disrespected again.

makenzie mcmullen4Overall great credit union. The only thing keeping it at 4 stars is the coinstar machine. Collins and usbank both have change machines and do Not charge 10% to turn in change. Seems a little silly. We were in last Monday and were charged the 10% on my sons piggy bank change
