  super friendly staff, not one or two staff, but ALL staff members greeted me when I walk through the lobby door. thank you to specifically to Angel. She took care of all my matters that one Saturday morning. and she followed up the business like she said. thanks Angel !

  Went in to talk about a personal loan to pay down credit card debt. They ended up offering me a lower rate on multiple vehicles I had financed through other banks as well as refinancing all of my credit card debt at half my current APR. Everyone was delightful.

  I have applied for a refinance of my home mortgage back in May/June of 2020. The loan origination talked to me, gathered all the details and was going to get back to me with closing date which he warned me might be 4-6 weeks away considering the number of applications they had to deal with. I was okay with it and hoped that i would receive a follow-up from the originator or the bank but nothing for 2 months. I called the originator on his office and on his cell but no response nor any follow-up. I went to the bank to talk to someone and i was promised that someone will call me in the afternoon that day but no one called. I then ended up taking an appointment with the same originator as a new refinance application to be able to get to him. He said couple more weeks and it has been 4 weeks and no response yet. This is the worst customer service i have seen EVER. There is no accountability on Veridian management to even follow-up and share any delays that they might be experiencing. I will never ever do banking with Veridian in the future.

  The customer service at the Veridian in Waukee is top notch. We are able to take care of all personal financial needs there and have used several of their service lines. The individuals who work there place a high priority on great service, timeliness and relationship building. I have been a member since they were John Deere Credit Union and have never been disappointed!

  I’d give 0 stars if i could. They hit you with multiple overdraft fees if you’re $2 negative the morning before you get paid. I have $90 in over draft fees because of $2 in the negative in Pending charges that haven’t even posted. Worst company I’ve ever banked at and I hated Wells Fargo!

  I've been a Veridian CU Member for over 13 years. I stopped into the new Waukee branch last week, and was very impressed. The staff at this location were all remarkably friendly and engaging. (And as I was the only customer in the branch at the time, I literally had the attention of the entire staff.) They are led by a manager who walks the walk when it comes to customer service, and that is always a great sign of a successful site. The location has a new, open floor plan, so you can actually stand next to the teller who is assisting you. It seemed strange at first, as I've never been in a financial institution laid out like this before, but after the initial "strangness" I decided that I like the removal of the barriers. To me, it suggests that not everyone that comes in is a potential robber. I came in because the change counting machine was broken in "my" branch. I left with a new home branch. Keep up the good work.

  Walked in on a whim to talk about getting some help with a basement project. I had a great chat with one of the team members who got us set up quickly with a HELOC. We were able to communicate mostly through email after and I even got responses on Saturday/Sunday (did not expect that!) Their customer service has been awesome and they've delivered on their promises. Glad I stopped by!
