  I had the Crystal replaced on my watch but it was not set flush. Naturally, It chipped days after picking it up and when I brought it back the repair man told me it wasn't his fault because that's how the watch was before and that's how Casio makes their watches.Total nonsense. He did poor work, refused to acknowledge it, and lied to my face. I have since purchased another Casio and, imagine my shock, the crystal is flush!!

  Do not bother going here for Pocket watch repair. They've had a very sentimental pocket watch of my boyfriend's for over three months! I never received one call for any updates. I either called myself or went in person. I was told Steve, the repairman would be calling me himself with every update. Unfortunately, not true. And each encounter with Steve was very uncomfortable. I practically had to bribe him to "try" and fix my pocket watch. He told me it was cheap and hard to find the parts for, and the price of repair will be worth more than the value of the watch itself. So in Steve's eyes, it's not worth his time. Apparently these employees don't know the value of sentimental items. Plus, it's business. I had to interrupt him to tell him I don't care about the costs, I just want it fixed. Finally, after three months of dealing with incompetent workers, I decide to retrieve my boyfriend's pocket watch. Only because it's almost Christmas and I really want him to have his grandfather's pocket watch, who just passed away. Surprisingly (sarcasm) the female worker was very rude. Just from me asking if Steve is in and if she knew of anymore watch repair business's in town. I normally don't go to Pawn shops, specifically because of this type of atmosphere. Rude and negative. I was really hoping to have this watch fixed in town, mainly for the quick updates and for the comfort of my boyfriend, but these employees let me down in many ways. I'd never leave a sentimental item in the possession of this business again. Lesson learned.

  I had 3 nice watch's and two so so, was told buy 2 jewelry shops and 2 different watch repair shops that the nicer ones were difficult to replace the batteries and was quoted up to 120 to replace all the batteries. Valley pawn did them all in a very quick turnaround a it was 32 bucks. very honest and extremely friendly. thanks guys

  This pawn shop was my first experience with any place in the Reno area since I was returning the U-Haul truck I used to move here. The first thing I noticed was the very organized layout of the place. The lady that helped me was extremely helpful and very nice from start to finish, which wasn't very long at all. I definitely want to come back to check out all the tools they have.

  I've done three ffl transfers here so far, and just finished setting up my fourth. They are friendly and helpful, priced right too. I just finished setting up an out of state gun store with them and they had no problem sending them a copy of their FFL. I will always do my transfers here.

  Place is a joke! I brought in 18k 1.51ct VS1 Princess-Cut Fancy Blue Diamo That I paid over 3500.lady looked at it and said she would only be able to do $20 $ max. Knowing I know I have all the paperwork and info on the in my my pocket I just looked at her and asked why it was so low and she said it was because it was 14 karat and I'm not going to pay for the stone which is funny valuable stone . So either she's an idiot and can I appraise the ring in her hand and remember 18 from 14 Orin has no business in a pawn shop or she's a crook and if used to dealing with nothing but it's tweekers and stolen items. I took the same ring down the road and got$ 1600 and 55 " tv and five Xbox games . VALLEY pawn LACKS INTEGRITY!

  This place has an excellent selection of tools for a fair price. There are drill bits in every size you can think of, some brand new equipment that they sell for a fraction of the cost! Go here before you go to the hardware store.

  they sure do not know much about high end watchs, i took in a bulova model #96c002 he said it fake because it did not have enough buttons on it because it was a cronograph, we looked it up @metropawn on sale. itwas $485.00 reg $595.00.......it is too a chronograph look it up. i am done. peace out

  I think you were mistaken of what our 45 year veteran watch-repairman was conveying to you regarding your watch (who also does watch service for Metro Pawn as well). Not that your Bulova was fake, it was the fact that it was NOT a chronograph model. Yours is just a calendar model, as you can see on Bulova's page with the exact model you referenced. https://www.bulova.com/products/96c002 The chronograph models are worth more and put them more into what you would say to be "high end" category. Your model, brand new on Bulova's page, are $476 and you can find them used online around the $150 range. We apologize if you were offended by the misunderstanding, but we were just simply not interested in that particular watch. [updated reply to customer's edit] Yes, we did look it up.
