Jane Worden12020 was a year for the books. Ever thing that went wrong has been blamed on COVID. I got a notice in September stating that my premiums had not been paid since since April 2020. I told them that I had an automatic payment set up through them since the beginning of time. I was informed that U.S. Financial decided to stop automatic payments due to COVID. However they did not inform me until months later and then they wanted a lump payment for back premiums. I told them no way and negotiated a payment plan. However they did not hold up their end of the bargain. I payment my payments as I a stated but they decided to take upon themselves and withdrawal a monthly for 8 consecutive days. This was on top of my payments being made prior to their withdrawal. To say the least I am not pleased. Called them to discuss what was going on and I was told that I had cancelled the automatic payment plan. I asked for proof that I did and it has never been provided. However I was told that a new auto payment request form would be emailed to me. Twice I was told this twice I have not received the form. This isn't even the end I still have issues to resolve. If I had an option of going somewhere else I would be gone in a flash. Maybe I will check with my financial advisor and he will wave his magic wand. So done with COVID it has ruined everything.

L Baxter1Received 3 separate letters this month after several years doing business with this company. First said policy premium due 12-27 paid bill. Next letter said was due 8-28. Final letter sent said coverage lapsed. Called customer service first time waited 3 hrs hung up. Called 2 more times with long waits and no resolution. Company indicated clerical error occurred but said sorry policy lapsed and won’t reinstate until receive money. Filing complaint with department of insurance.

Madaline Dunn1I am experiencing the same problems as everyone else here. They don’t ans. Phone, fax doesn’t work, etc. I have called and called. I have been waiting on a document sine Aug. it is now Nov.!! I wonder how they pay death claims?

I have spoken with several individuals since July 2020 which I cancelled my policy which jumps to 900.00 plus dollars. All I want is the $900.00 plus dollars take out my account and any others dollars came out up to today’s date. The customer service is not good at all,

Gary L. Lansman1I have been trying to resolve a situation with U.S. Finanical Life / Equitable for 6 WEEKS. Forget trying to get through to their so-call Customer Service Call Center in Charlotte, NC. I sent my monthly payment 11/2. On 11/17 I finally got through to someone named "Naz" who informed me my payment posted on their books on 11/9. Problem is, my payment has never posted to my bank. On 12/1 I spoke with "Tanya". She also confirmed my payment had posted to their account status. Still has not posted to my bank. Today is 12/7 and my payment sent and received 0n 12/2 has also not shown up on my bank statement. My concern is they will cancel me for non-payment. Give them a pass!!!

jeff paas1I needed to talk to a person on a letter they sent me. I called the number on the letter and was sent to foreign call center. The service was rude and not helpful. I didn't get anything resolved. Bottom line, why would anybody ever use this company? I am using other means to cancel my policy with them. I am thankful I never had to file a claim. My agent said when he wrote this policy for me it was another company and has quite writing policies with this company,

Julie R1This is the WORST company ever and should not be able to call themselves "US" Financial as they have outsourced all their jobs to India or the Philippines. There is no one you can speak to that is in the US and can actually help you. We have been waiting 4 MONTHS FOR OUR DEATH CLAIM TO PROCESS!! THAT IS INSANE!! I HAVE CALLED 10 TIMES AND ALL THE FOREINE REPS CAN SAY IS THAT IT IS IN PROCESSING. I HAVE REQUESTED A CALL BACK FROM SOMEONE IN THE US 9 TIMES OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS AND STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CALL BACK. I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT I COULD JUST SEND THEM AN EMAIL AND I WOULD GET A RESPONSE. NOPE. STILL NOTHING!! I AM REPORTING THEM TO THEM TO THE DEPTARTMENT OF INSURANCE AND TAKING LEGAL ACTION!!!

Judith Rich1We received three letters. First we were cancelled, then a bill, then another bill. We never received our June bill so without any further notification our policy was terminated. I’ve been trying to contact them for a number of days, but after holding for 30 minutes, I gave up. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
