  I had multiple loans with this company. They were great at first but when I had an issue with my bank account they decided to take me to court. I had a perfect payment history prior to this and that didn't matter in the least. I sent in a couple of money orders and when they didn't call I assumed they had received them. I found out they didn't when they had someone serve me papers. I contact them immediately to discuss the issue and they made it seem like they would work with me. I offered to make double payments for the remainder of the loan but they refused. I sent a letter of dispute to them and the court and was told we would have a mediator come and help us work it out. The court and universal lenders decided to not accept my letter of dispute and when ahead with the court date without me there and are going to start garnishing my wages. Anyone who has to get a loan stay far away from this place because they do not care about anything other than money and enjoy screwing people over.

  When a customer is late on a payment, we call a few times and send letters. This process takes a couple of weeks. Then we send a default letter, which gives you two more weeks to pay your past due balance. If you do not communicate with us, we then go to small claims court. Once the small claims process starts, we all must follow the court rules. I am glad we were able to work out a payment plan that worked for you.

  After a work injury I needed some money to get me caught up on my past due bills. I looked at some payday loan places but then I found Universal Lenders and they helped me out. Universal got me my money quick plus they were professional and easy to work with.

  They helped me rebuild my credit and always answered the phone when I called. They have good customer service and answers right away. I would recommend using Universal Lenders for a loan.

  Do not take a loan out with this company!!! The interest rate is insane and they will not work with you. They do not change pay dates or work with you at all. They will take you to court without contacting you demanding money after the loan is paid in full. Not to mention their customer service is rude and laugh at your situation. I just spent 20 minutes getting yelled at because of their error

  Our interest rates are no secret and if you did not like them, you should not have taken the loan. We would not be in business if they were not competitive. We try to work with our customers and often change due dates. When a customer is late on a payment, we call a few times and send letters. This process takes a couple of weeks.   They were awesome to work with. Staff was friendly, paperwork went through quickly and they report to the credit bureaus weekly which helps your credit.

  They have always been very helpful with me, and easy to work with. They have promotions that they send out with some good deals. If in need give them a try. The staff is great to work with and friendly.

  I had to leave town to visit a sick relative and took out a payday loan. Universal Lenders paid them off and now I have a loan that reports to the credit bureaus that is much cheaper.
