John Moore5I have been a member of Universal 1 Credit Union for nearly 30 years. I could not be happier with Universal 1. The staff is extremely helpful and provide a wide variety of resources. Their branch sharing agreements make it very easy to access accounts and conduct business throughout the greater Dayton area.

Shane5Hello! I am writing a review to touch on the topic of Universal 1's Customer Service! I currently bank with Universal 1 and have been since 2014. Recently I acquired in an auto loan through the River Park location in Dayton, Ohio and one of the representatives who took care of me was Laura! She was very respectful, helpful, and I highly recommend her to anyone interested in any of their services. She was willing to answer any questions I had and made buying a vehicle fun and enjoyable! In my personal loan experience, it was a about an hour before close on a Friday, and it was Labor Day weekend so they weren't open until the following Tuesday, Laura went the extra mile to drive to the Vandalia location (20 min drive) to make sure I was able to get the vehicle loan in time, as Vandalia banking business hours are slightly extended. She reminded me of the Discover Card commercial that says, "We Treat You, Like You'd Treat You" haha. All so I didn't have to wait in anticipation over a 3 day weekend to get my new vehicle! All around, 10/10 Customer Service, would highly recommend Laura from Universal 1 to take care of your loans!

Chad Banter1I am a member of U1... I called to get a 10-day payoff quote for Carvana and spoke with Melodie. I called twice and both times she seemed annoyed to help me. She also refused to send me a 10-day payoff or let me pay my car loan off over the phone (she said there was a $5k limit per day). She said that I would need to go to a branch in person... I even reminded her that we are in the middle of a pandemic and she said there is just no way to send information like that through email. It's 2020 and U1 and their representatives still seem baffled by the concept of online banking for payoffs and quotes... Or Melodie was just having a bad day.

LaDawn Skipper5I’m sooo happy I chose this bank many many years ago. I’ve never had issues with transfers or balances. I have even had charges dropped for going under accidentally in my checking account. I’m always treated fairly and that’s the biggest plus about banking at U1C!! Thank u

Big Daddy1the very worst credit union ive ever been in, i go to alot of different credit unions all over the country, using shared branching. i tried to transfer money from one account to another, they couldnt handle it. i went to a dayair credit union, they took care of me with no problems..

Laura Lakin Kraus1My daughter, Lindsay Rader, got a car loan from U1CU in Vandalia. We referred her there. The title was in her soon to be ex-husband's name. He signed a POA, she had to wait 8 months for the Title. Your CU put it back in her ex-husband's name and he refuses to sign another POA, the tags expire this month.I won't be referring anyone else there. This has been extremely stressful for her and I really am upset that she has been put through the ringer, with, well I wasn't here then. I just started today.
