      Garbage business. Very unprofessional, I have a great credit score and have worked with over 5 banks, this is by far the worst. Completely unresponsive handling my auto loan, delaying my process. Ended up going to Mazuma and had a great experience, I recommend you look that way. Not sure how they are still in business. Byron was who never answered my voicemail. You may have better luck with another representative.

      Been a member of several Financial institutions over the years. If you want to deal with Big banks who really don't care about you go for it. If you want personal, down to earth, great service from real people who actually do care, go here. The bad reviews I'm seeing here are a bit ridiculous and IMO are obviously from some snobby people. Recently purchased a home and United Consumers was there every step, always answered my calls, and gave good advice with HONEST information. Will be a member for years to come

      It would be very nice if your credit union would update the answering service when one is put on hold. You can not imagine how nerve wracking it is to continually hear the phone ring over and over with the same message. It would be so much more pleasant to hear melodious music verses the women's grating voice as one waits.

      This company was not very good at follow-up calls regarding a repossessed vehicle they were trying to sell. I placed a bid and was told I would be called before they sold the vehicle just in case I wanted to raise my bid. It was very rude and unprofessional that I did not get a phone call before the vehicle was sold to another individual. Because I live pretty close to United Consumer Credit Union on 23rd Street, friends and friends of friends ask frequently for my opinion of this credit union and I will continue to tell people how rudely I was treated at this credit union.

      My experience with this place is awful, I never leave reviews ever but I felt the need to now. I have called his place so many times trying to get ahold of someone to talk about my car loan and I get sent to voicemail every single time. I have left voicemails, and I get no response back. It's pretty sad actually. I have even called during non busy hours and still no one is available. I do not recommend this place. I got my loan refinanced and it has been about a month and I've heard nothing back and I can't get ahold of anyone.

      I came here because I have a mortgage loan through them. I wanted to get a car loan too and I applied last week. Had to keep calling to get any answers, NO ONE ever answers their phone here!! Finally got ahold of someone else's voicemail and my finance guy FINALLY called me back to let me know I got approved. Why do I have to keep calling for days and reaching out to you before I get an answer? I found a different car that I wanted, I told him I needed to know asap because I wanted to leave town Friday to pick up the car. I called AT LEAST 20 times in 2 days! I kept getting, "sorry, he is busy, I can get you his voicemail" BUT you'll never get a call back. I started calling other loan officers and none of them ever answered or returned my phone calls either. Needless to say I STILL, today, have not gotten a call back and that car is already sold that I wanted. This place has the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with in my life. I also work in sales and loans and every time I have to run someone's credit to let them know if they are approved or not, I ALWAYS call back as soon as I hear anything back and if it's taking longer than expected I at least give them a curtious call and inform them that I'm still waiting or even just a simple email to update them on things. Now I see exactly how it feels to never hear back. It's been 6 days since putting in my application and not ONE phone call on anything!! Do NOT get a loan here, their customer service is crap!

      Had a call this morning about a transfer, I did not do. They knew I had never did that before. I appreciate their fast response. Have never had a problem. They go over the top to help. Penny James

      Attempted to open communications for a HELOC with Kimball Johnson and left a voicemail. Did not receive a return phone call for over a week. I called a second, third and fourth time, requesting anyone other than Kimball or the previous person they had transferred to because NO ONE ANSWERED THEIR PHONES THERE. I was beginning to think it was some shell company for the Mob with no actual employees. I finally spoke with Ronny in the St. Joe branch and she was friendly and helpful, but the lack of offering an online application is a turn-off. I don't want to take off work to submit an application. It's the year 2015, get with the times. Kimball finally called me back after leaving a second message and seemed more than a little disinterested. I had to provide answers to questions he wasn't asking and he lacked any basic customer service skills. Definitely not someone I want to work with OR have managing any part of my finances. I will be taking our business elsewhere for sure.

      I previously Banked at a big banking firm. Decided to switch over to a credit union and United Consumers Credit Union is the very best. The people who I deal with each time are so welcoming and efficient. I have made different transactions over the years and felt good with each result.
