  My husband is a very hard working BLACK BEAUTIFUL MAN and was rewarded by his boss with a large bonus to help with traveling reimbursement. He had 3 forms of ID including his drivers license as well as social security card. He was met with contempt and was forced to call his boss on his day off so she could call the bank direct and figure out why with 3 forms of ID and and a check issued from this bank he would be given such a very hard time ESPECIALLY when this was not his first time cashing a check at this establishment. Only when his BOSS called (she is a VERY NICE Caucasian woman) was he able to be helped DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR BLACK

  Very unprofessional. The only upside is when the branch manager Ms.Savita is there because she is always willing to help but anytime she is not there they are lazy and try to rush you off the phone telling you “I have other customers actually here in person” like being a calling customer isn’t as important or something. I’ve had an account with them for 5-6 years now and I’m VERY strongly considering closing my account.

  Very bad customer services especially the downtown Silver Spring branch. Today I deposited a $6000 cashier's check from the federal credit union to my account with them over decade and the teller had troubles understand plain English words "Cashier's check" on the check. It took her almost 5 minutes to just deposit a check into my account. Then at 6:40pm she called me and said they will hold my check til the end of the month!!!! I told her it is cashier's check and it from County credit union so it should be available right away. She argued that it's NOT cashier's check!!!and it's not from credit Union!!!I asked for my check back she said bank closed now and check is in process so I can not get it back!!! I told her I will close my account because of this.She said "ok" and nothing else..no apology nothing..so I will take my business somewhere else.
