Gabriel-Cat DiFelice1UMB bank ran a hard credit report for me for my credit card on a pre approval letter(understandable), then about a month later I opened an online checking account with them thinking it would be an easy way to make payments on the card when I use it; even though I didn’t need it; they ran a hard inquiry without me knowing this was going to happen (which was lousy). Afterwards for what I’m guessing no reason whatsoever they did a third hard inquiry on my credit report without my knowledge or applying for a new card or account. My credit report now has 4 hard inquiries this year; 3 from UMB bank. I highly recommend distancing yourself from this bank and using a real one because aside from these terrible hard inquiries they decided to do the app is slow and customer services have not been proven to be helpful with my issues. I truly wish I never got that pre acceptance letter because it would best to not even know of UMB bank.

Christopher Swanson1Worst chain of banks ever. Treated me like garbage. CSRs are rude and don't seem to know anything. One teller at the Wewatta branch refused to help me. Branch managers close accounts more than they change underwear.
