  I've been a member for 8 years and really wanted to like trustone mortgage. It started as a headache to just apply. The link sent to me went to an old system I guess. Couldn't log in. Took a few days just to apply. Talked to 2 separate people. Both give a rush feel. The primary I worked with wasn't easy to get a hold of within 24 hours a few times. In this market you need to pick up the phone or reply to emails quick. Ended up going to a buy and sell mortgage kind of place since he has always ready to get a hold of.

  We worked with Eric and he was amazing. Not only is he knowledgeable and super responsive to any questions we had but he often communicated with us before we even reached out to him. This was our first house mortgage and he could not have made the process more smooth for us. Can't recommend him enough.

  Best mortgage company hands down!! Loan officer and his team was always available to answer all my questions and concerns, made my first time home buying process easy and stress free. Highly recommend!

  If you want to talk to someone you need to wait on hold for at least half an hour. Their web site doesn't work with Safari. So if you have all the time in the world to talk to a banker then this is the place for you.

  Pete Wichert with Trustone is a trustworthy and genuine person. He works on mortgages and it seems like there is nothing he would be unable to write. Pete has been wonderful to work with.

  Buyer beware. TruStone mortgage has started to sell mortgages. With no warning, TruStone sold our new mortgage before a payment was even due. So much for keeping things local and personal.
