  For the most part I like Trustco Bank, but I have one major issue with them, and that is why I take 3 stars off this review. The people inside the bank are extremely friendly and helpful. As a customer I have always been treated with the utmost respect. They also have the lowest minimum money needed to avoid a monthly service charge. These are the good parts of this bank. My major issue is with the online and mobile banking. They are absolutely HORRIBLE, and they don't work. The mobile App on both Android and iOS look like a child made them 10 years ago. Mobile deposit doesn't work... EVER! This is a huge inconvenience since I travel extensively, and I often need to make deposits when I am out of town. Since there are very few branches in Fl, let alone anywhere else I travel, this means I have to wait to get home, often a month later, to make my deposits. I have called customer service in NY about this many times, and they are always apologetic, however, the apology is empty, as it doesn't fix the problem. The only solution is to mail my checks to the bank, which would take over a week, and could mean the check getting lost in the mail. No thanks... I left a small amount of money in my account, and had to move my account to another bank that offers a better mobile banking experience.

  The people at this bank are very friendly and they have good interest rates for the times, however if you plan on using online or mobile banking, forget about it. The mobile application is horrible, and doesn't allow you to make mobile deposits no matter what phone or tablet you are using. The information regarding charges on your account is very incomplete and most times you cannot even tell the company that put the charge through. I would say if you dont need mobile on online banking you will love this bank. If online or mobile deposits are important to you, you will need to look elsewhere.

  I have worked with Jocelyn at Trustco Bank numerous times over the years and her closing are seamless every single time, not to mention she is always a pleasure to work with!

  I have been banking here for three years . I have never had better service. The home loan department is second to none .

  If I could give ZERO stars I would. Stay away from the Trustco on Beneva and Clark. These folks are CLUELESS. Took my business elsewhere.
