  I walked into this bank and asked for some change in exchange for cash. There were only two people inside the bank at that time. One of the ladies looked at me and said: “Can you take your mask off? And your hat?” Can you even imagine how bad of a sales presentation that is? What if I wanted to open an account with TrustCo, and they said: “that’s great! Just take your mask off in the middle of the worst pandemic in 100 years, and we’ll get started!” That’s basically what they said to me, and I was offended. I told them I would take my hat off, but not my mask. They were fine with that, which makes me think they were just trying to enforce their own opinion on face masks on me. I have the right to wear a mask, and if I want to wear a mask, I will. I wouldn’t recommend this using this bank for anything because they didn’t respect my right to wear a mask, and if they didn’t respect my rights, what makes you think they’ll respect yours? It’s very unprofessional of this bank to ask someone to take their mask off during a pandemic. I highly recommend using a more professional bank, one that cares about your rights, and that won’t ask you to take your mask off.

  I made a house payment from my account and two payments were made instead of 1. I only use my checking account to pay my mortgage and not anything else. The bank charged me a 36.00 overdraft fee because they said it wasn't the banks fault which I disagree. I would understand the fee if I went shopping and didn't have the money in my account. I have a savings account also which any extra money I have in checking I transfer to the savings after my house payment is made. I'm going to look at closing my savings and move the money to my other bank's savings account if im going to be treated like this.

  Nadene at the Melbourne Trustco branch refinanced my mortgage. She was always on top of everything that needed to get done and made sure the whole process went very smoothly. She did a great job explaining everything to me and answering all my questions. She was organized, knowledgeable, and diligent. You can tell that she loves her job and that she truely cares about her customers. I would definetly recommend her to anyone. She was a pleasure to work with!

  Let’s put it this way, if you don’t give Trustco Bank in Melbourne 5 stars, something’s wrong with you! These people are all amazing! Super friendly, neighborhood bank, they go out of their way to help you here. We have been with Trustco for over 5 years, and they have saved us so much money on our mortgage loans and refis! Their fees are half if not more than that compared to other banks. Interest rates are much better comparably also. Nadene is the best! She treats you like family!!! Try them. You will not be sorry !

  Went for a refinance. Nadene is good, but they hired a very shoddy appraiser ( beware if you see Kevin Trammo doing your appraisal), who blatantly ignored major renovations in the house, and ignored recent sales of nearly identical houses in the same neighborhood, all in an attempt to significantly devalue the house and lower the risk for the bank. Between the house being undervalued and TrustCo only offering 89.5% of the home value, it all quickly unraveled. TrustCo also did not appropriately re-evaluate the appraisal as they would have then had to acknowledge that the valuation was preposterous and Kevin Trammo should lose his job. Took them two weeks to agree with an appraisal that a toddler could do better. Nadene was helpful, but, through no fault of her own, she couldn't overcome the practices of TrustCo Bank. The whole process took an agonizing 2.5 months. The extra star is for Nadene. Without her, this would be a hard 1 star bank that seriously needs to re-evaluate their policies.

  I find when I ask when a check will be available after deposit I get literally 3 different answers!! Frustrated I used the bank on the check had to pay a fee!! Thanks! Then I go to the 🏧 to make a cash deposit and the transaction was "Denied" I've never heard of such! Just now I call the 800#,it asks for my SSN, not my card#!! Then says they don't have any pin for my acct. Which is a different pin than my card! They use 3 different pins! Telephone banking pin, card pin, on-line banking pin! I fear they closed my account without so much as a text or automated phone call! It's 13:11 now on Saturday so I have to wait til Monday to find out how Google Fraudulently charged my account,(if it still exists) 3 stars only bc of the staff, they are very nice! @Gina Richi:I felt I'd be shamed by Gina Richi if I said anything bad about the staff!! LoL JK but seriously Gina, if anyone doesn't like them then there has to be something wrong with that person?? Really?

  Nadene at Trustco Bank is absolutely amazing! We signed up for kids accounts and got our house refinanced with them. Process was very simple and almost all documents were able to be signed electronically.

  Outstanding customer care at TrustCo Bank. Nadene Cavalier provides exceptional service and a range of banking options -- without fees! We set up a Health Savings Account at no additional cost that will earn interest and save on taxes. The account came with free checks and debit cards. TrustCo in Melbourne is the place to bank. Go see Nadene!

  I just closed a mortgage with this branch and the process was very smooth from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and professional. The manager and assistant helped me through this whole process (first time home buyer nerves). The branch even stayed open past hours to finish working on the initial application with me to ensure I would close on time. I would absolutely recommend this bank as a whole and this branch to my friends and family. Thank you all!
