  Here is some of the details of my dissatisfaction with the handling of my past checking account with BB&T. I had two personal checking accounts with BB&T. Money was taken out of the wrong account one day without my permission. I filed several complaints with BB&T, and even with the fraud department at BB&T. This transaction had even caused me to be overdrawn (if I remember correctly). BB&T refused to investigate at all or do anything to correct the situation. The part that got me the most was that they “refused” to investigate my fraud claim. I went in and talked with the branch manager and nothing. Instead, BB&T charged me an extra fee as they closed my account. To add insult to injury. BB&T now is giving me a bad name, reputation and image, because they refuse to protect my account from intrusion, fraudulent activities and sent my account to the bad accounts section in ChexSystems and now to a bill collector. Now I have a bad debt with being pursued by a debt collector, BB&T & ChexSystems. When I was a victim in this circumstance. Talk about systematic racism. If I was a white person with money and clout, BB&T would have, first of all, conducted a thorough investigation into my fraudulent claim. BB&T would have treated me with decency, professionalism and respect along with integrity. They would also have corrected that problem. I sadly recall, one representative I was speaking with was so rude and unprofessional to me, that she told me off, as well as refused to help resolve my issue. So therefore, I will never place my hard earned money in that institution again (now Truist). On top of this. Now I have to seek legal assistance to get this handled. Will most likely start with the Attorney’s General’s Office to seek their assistance in pointing me in the right direction.

  Decent night time ATM for cash deposits through ATM. Well lit and across from Marietta City Police Department. Walking distance from Marietta City Square.

  I walked in yesterday, me, a black man & no one paid any attention to me. The Latina woman there asked me “what do you need” after about a minute of me waiting. As a new customer that reflected very poorly on BBT & Truist.

  This location was extremely racist and poorly educated. They tried to deny me access to my funds because I was black and requested a high amount. They said my signature didn’t match what they had on file. Which wasn’t true because I provided proof of all my signature transactions. I will never go back to this location or bank with BB&T again. Racial profiling is sad. This location needs to hire educated people. The Spanish guy in the window was poorly trained and lacked information on how to do his job properly. The lady that sits at the desk in the back claimed to be a manager but instead of helping she was eating food the entire time. This experience was horrible and extremely frustrating!

  I had a great experience with Isabel! She was very personable and went above and beyond with her customer service. Highly recommend doing business with her!

  Extraordinary dirty. Doors at entry are filthy. Hated to touch the door handles as they are caked with dirt. Obviously, this place has been earmarked for closure with the merger...that said, this disregard for the customer is enough to make me change banks

  Without a shadow of a doubt the worst banking experience for a business account that I have ever had. Calling them and there online setup antiquated would be a compliment. There customer service makes Comcast look like Allstars.

  This branch wouldn't answer phone. They let it ring for 2 minutes then you get busy signal. Have a car loan through them and it is hell everytime i try and pay it. Stupid automatic phone system is god aweful and you can never get an operator. Yes i know my social but i don't know what stupid 4 digit pass code you assigned me without letting me know! I don't have a debit card with which to enter its numberand pin to bypass and never will due to horrendous service.

  There are definitely better banks in Marietta. Move along. Nothing to see here.
