Mike Carey1This location is "temporary closed" again. Getting harder to bank with this company. Drive to Elkridge location, which also only had drive through open. On a Friday, one teller and 10 cars in line. Pretty sad

Sasha Hays1This is THEEEEEE worlds worst bank. They never have the funds I need. If I ask for 20s they give me hundreds. If I ask for hundreds they give me 20s. It’s almost like they purposely give me the opposite of what I ask for. Customer service is terrible. How can a bank not have necessary funds for customers.... that’s the point of the bank. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Alanna Criscuoli1The absolute worst banking experience of my life! I went in one night to cash a check from my job, from BB&T, although I do not have an account through this bank. Although it was late (close at 5 and this was quarter to 5), the tellers were extremely rude upon my arrival. The first teller advised me there could be a fee, and as I was inquiring why, she cut me off and said she had "too much to do", passed me off to a new teller, and slammed the door to the back upon exiting to lock up. The new teller asked [who I assume to be] her manager for help. The manager stated that she would not cash the check as it has to be verified through my company and it's "too late". I let her know someone is still at the company, although I cannot say for certain if it is the person with whom is specified on the account. She rolled her eyes at me and reluctantly dialed the number. At this time, I contacted the General Manager of my office to advise him on the situation and see if he could help in anyway, as the CFO had gone home for the night. He let me know that they can contact him and he would get whoever need be on the phone right away to verify accounts. MJ (the name of the "branch manager") said he had 5 minutes to get the person ready and hung up the phone. My office did everything to locate the person with whom was on the account and served as an "authorized personnel". I let her know she could call back, and she rolled her eyes again and dialed back. As this person was picking up the phone, she rolled her eyes for the third time, sighed, and said she was going to ask some questions and then "I'll THINK about cashing her check." She asked questions in regards to the day the bank account was opened (we've been in business for 20+ years through this bank) and exact amt in acct, etc. He did not have answers to this, as it was almost 6 pm and we were contacting him at his home. He went ahead and contacted the CFO on three-way, but she said she would not cash this check as she "wasn't sure what was going on or who she was speaking to." She hung up the phone (without even as much as a good bye), walked away from the desk, and turned the lights out on me as I was still in the bank, on the phone with the General Manager to let him know the situation. The best part is, the next day I went to different BB&T and the women was very friendly and cashed it immediately. The absolute WORST customer experience I've ever had, never in my life have I had someone roll their eyes at me and their customers, or turn the lights out on me while I am not even leaving the store. STAY AWAY!

Eric Siegel5So I'm not sure what everyone is so upset about in the other reviews. But I've never had any issues with this BBT location. They are always respectful and always been able to do what I needed.

Nadiya Lonkevych1UNSKILLED STAFF — I applied for a product with BB&T ar Snowden River Rd Location in Columbia. I spent nearly 2 hours waiting and then going through the process/paperwork. Louise was assisting me. I was first given one amount (credit line). Then the supervisor Lissett got involved, they figured that Louise was incorrect in her calclulations due to not being familiar with the requirements of the loan, and the second amount was figured (about 35% lower). I questioned a few points during the process as I was not entirely sure they both knew what they were knowledgable, mixing up terminology, etc. They assured me that everything looks good, and they will submit the paperwork. A few days later, my credit score was pulled, and then the following day, I got a voicemail from Louise asking to call her back. When I did, twice, she was with the client both times but then never returned my call. Today a got a hold of her, and she just notified me that the application was declined because of another provision that she was not aware of. So aside from wasting my time, I got a hard pull on my credit history, which will impact my overall score. My question is this: why not do your due diligence as a professional working for a large financial establishment and make sure everything checks out BEFORE pulling your client's credit history and doing the damage? No apologies or ways to settle this were offered.

Destiny Kruse-Brainard1I will not for the life of me understand why BB&T WON'T cash a check from BB&T. That is the dumbest policy of any bank I've come across. I wouldn't open an account with you if my livelihood depended on it. No wonder you were so empty when the BoA down the street has a line almost out the door.

David1I went to get change for my shop and they told me they don't have change. A bank doesn't have change?
