  I've been using BB&T for decades but this branch for only 4 years. I have had nothing but good experiences. Most recently Ahmed moved my car loan from a different back to a BBT loan with a much lower rate, for free, with virtually zero participation from me. It was the easiest financial transaction of my life... well, I guess buying a snickers bar is easier, but for a significant loan it was the easiest by miles. Anyway, thanks Ahmed. Much appreciated.

  Interacted with the rudest employee today, 'Ronnie'. She may have even been a supervisor. My husband has a BB&T account, so we walked over to cash a check that was made out to both of us. My husband was holding on to my ID since I didn't have pockets in my pullover. When Ronnie asked for my ID, my husband handed her my license. She made a really big deal that he gave her my ID instead of me. Not sure why exactly that matters. Throughout the rest of our interaction with her, she was extremely condescending and rude. I know a lot of folks don't like Bank of America, but I have had my B of A account for 15 years and one thing I have always appreciated is there customer service. My husband is loyal to BB&T, but after visiting the Oakton branch and interacting with Ronnie, I am glad I do not have an account with them and hopefully will not have to deal with this woman again.

  Online Banking and Support Totally Broken; unless you want to conduct banking like it's 1969 stay far away. The only viable way to manage your account and deal with customer support is driving to a branch. Branch people will tell you openly that, "they should just get rid of the online banking." Ridiculous.

  Terrible Customer service! I was stuck on their automated system several times. I ended up taking my mom in person to simply change the address on the account. I’ve done all my other accounts in banks and other companies within minutes and I don’t understand why this is such a problem here. When we arrived they turned my mom away bc she didn’t have the new address listed on her lisence. Of course not, we just moved and are in the process of changing everything over. The lady was rude and didn’t help and we went there for nothing. Had I been able to get through over the phone maybe someone could’ve warned me and not wasted so much time. I called a different branch that said they could change it. Over all VERY displeased.

  i was waiting more then 30 minutes in the bank there was no other customer in the branch except me but the 3 employees were doing noting. unbelievable that is why they have 2 star service.

  I called for a question about my card and the guy put me on hold and it hit 5PM. No one came back on the line.

  High Hopes and Low Outcomes.The issue that i've found about this particular place is the fact that after doing my google search, it said that the office is opened 24 hours, but when called in to see if the office was open, well what do you know, it is closed. So go fix that, otherwise you are misinforming your customers. Most BB&T banks are open from 9am-12pm on Saturday, but when you see in google search that its 24/7, you will realize that this one is unfortunately lying to the people on the internet.

  Horrid customer service. Don't do much to help you and question you about where else you bank at all the time. BB&T is very behind on the times, its 2017! Blatantly stating a monthly maintaince fee just for banking there ($5 bucks) is not a way to win over new customers. Steer clear

  Poor customer service. New management not the same like before. They refused to wave cashier chech fee. They said because I need to have another type of account that I was elegible for and told them I did have enough time. I won't bank with this branch ANYMORE

  If i could give this place -10 stars, i would. They just stand around. It toom them 20 min to cash my check
