  The ATM barely ever works. I cant count how many times I've driven here and a cone is sitting in the ATM drive thru blocking the way. Edit: In the four weeks since I wrote this review, the ATM has been down at least 3 times this bank is an absolute joke.

  I used their atm and it did not dispense my cash. But,it came out of my account. Now,instead of fixing the problem by watching the video or doing a count they want me to dispute the transaction which takes 30-40 days instead of being handled by the next business day. Way to go BBT!!

  I have never been treated as rudely in a bank before. Was in to make a payment on a car loan for my son since he was out of the country. They gave me a hard time. I had planned on using my debit card ... nope they wouldn't do that. So I went and got cash ... nope they wouldn't take cash (can you believe that). Was told it was a Federal law that made it illegal to take a cash payment on a loan. It was a $311.19 monthly car payment. Not a hugh amount. Get this ... I had to go home and find my checkbook (which I had not written a ck in for over 4 years) and take a check in to them. Took me 4.5 hours to make a car payment. Oh ... there was NO federal law ever saying a bank cannot take cash for a loan payment. Rude and liars to boot. Just the kind of institution you want handling your money, NOT.

  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Visited this branch instead of our normal one because it was nearby and Conveinent at the time. Turned out to be not so convenient when the teller decided to place it upon himself to put a hold on our deposit and lie to us about how much instant credit towards it we would have and that he had no idea why it would have a hold on it, that it was a "system decision". When I called customer service about where the instant credit was on our account she said that it was never $200 it's always been just $100 and they had no idea why he would've told us that. Also found out that it's the branch that makes the decision to put a hold on the deposit and that it CAN be overridden. Would have been much more Conveinent to drive the extra 15 minutes to our normal branch so we would have our money the next day instead of having to wait four days for a two day delay because of the weekend. I wouldn't be inclined to write a negative review on account of just one discrepancy with this particular institution. We have had multiple issues with BB&T in general, so motivates me to vent on our most recent transaction at the Jonestown location. In our opinion BB&T needs to step up their tellers training and streamline their policies to all locations. It shouldn't be different answers at different locations for the same transactions. They also need to look into their fees, customers shouldn't be charged for their tellers mistakes.

  You won't take $1k bagged coins like other branches. Those are bags from BB&T, for BB&T...just not this one. 😑 Quite slow at counting cash. It was grueling to watch. I offered to help separate the uncounted denominations. She refused. Took 15 minutes to make a cash deposit. Please fix these issues.

  Horrible customer service and corruption at its finest with RJ at this specific place. It’s scary knowing these people have your personal information. I will be closing my business and personal bank account after visiting this bb&t. All I wanted was a business debit card and told there was no such thing by RJ. He made me apply for a credit card. Got denied then told me I could get a debit card. WTH! Also he called me on my personal phone trying to get me to re finance my truck. I did not go there for that. I will be filing a complaint in person when I get back to town. People should not not play with others personal information and time and lying.

  Never go to this bank.. The bank teller Jim is very rude and unprofessional... The line is always long and they sit there and just look at you like you stupid... I will never back with them ever again.. Take your money to another bank.. Jim is very unprofessional.. will be leaving this bank soon.

  Can’t stand coming to this location. Unfortunate because it’s the most convenient location for me. I’d rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the peter’s creek location because there they know my name , they know what they’re doing and I NEVER have to deal with the inconsistencies this bank has. I stopped going to this location over a year ago but tried it today only to be disappointed and reminded why I ever stopped coming. Every time I come here it’s a different story. Damn just give me my money please ! Never mind, I won’t be back.

  Slow service. There was two tellers and one client. However, it took almost 15 minutes for a simple transaction. I had other transactions as well, but I decided to go to another branch on a different day.

  Came to withdraw funds & the teller was very rude. He threw my card back at me and didn’t respond to anything I said to him.
