Jonathan Ott1Place is a joke I sadly had my mortgage transferred to these guys and they can't fix there online payment so I have to literally make payments by phone. It worked fine for 5 months then all the sudden stopped working and after talking to your tech support people about 15 times there solution is for me to pay by phone avoid this bank at all costs.

Ryan Kelliher1Do not bank at SunTrust. The wait times at the Bel Air branch are very long, and the lines have been exacerbated by a policy of closing branches and opening mortgage offices. This bank furthermore has had the audacity to tell their customers that it's for our convenience. I offered feedback to the branch manager; she was very rude and flippant, and blamed technological forces for their obviously profit-motivated decisions in this matter. These people just don't respect their customers.

CJ Harvey5I have been an account holder at SunTrust Bank for over 12 years. I have received EXCEPTIONAL service from this bank. Though they do not have a major presence in the mid-atlantic area, I travel south every year and SunTrust Bank is prominent in the south, making banking easy while traveling. Living in Edgewood, I was truly disappointed when the office in this area closed. I NEVER experienced more than a two minute wait time, was greeted by VERY COURTEOUS, helpful employees and ALWAYS had a pleasant banking experience. The next closest SunTrust Bank was in Abingdon. Though not as convenient, the few times I actually needed to visit the bank, again, the employees were very courteous and the wait time was minimal. But SunTrust Bank soon closed this location too. With the ease of banking online and check deposits via a picture of the front and back of the check, the only reason I may currently need to visit the bank is for withdrawal of funds at their ATM. However, when cash is needed, there are several local grocery stores who will give you cash back, for no charge, when you use your SunTrust debit card to pay. So, I will continue to use SunTrust Bank. Now, as for the Bel Air location that other reviewers have given a poor rating. I personally have never had to visit this location, so I cannot comment on the employees behavior or the wait times. But I can assume, that with the closing of other locations in Harford County, this location has become busier. All in all, my personal experience with this bank, via brick & mortar, online, chat, email & phone calls to customer service has been EXCEPTIONAL.

Chiadi 975Ma. Catherine helped me open a new account with this branch of Suntrust. She kindly informed me about what each account offers and the different tools I can use to enhance my banking experience. I left PNC bank for SunTrust Bank and I don’t regret it. The customer service her is top notch.

Ashley Schafer1Personal Banker at BelAir, MD location was very rude today about cashing a check written by me (a SunTrust account holder) to a family member (non-account holder). Didn't offer any explanation as to why and even after speaking with me on the phone refused to take any of my information or discuss MY ACCOUNT!!!! Absolutely disgraceful.

Michele K1Personal banker Catherine B. was by far one of the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with. Would recommend anyone stay as far away from this branch as possible if the rest of the employees conduct themselves as she does

John Santo1Worse customer service out of all local banks. Every time I go into the big bank next door, I get ask how am I doing and how can we help you. Had SunTrust employees ask that today I wouldn't have waited 30 minutes to see the person who handles loans. Will never bank here. Plus this place smells like an old musty basement.

Keneeka Pagan1I honestly never been so humiliated before in my life. They wasted 3hrs of my time. Promising me that they could handle a situation and they did not, could not do it. I'm not upset that they couldn't do it, I'm upset that they told me to wait its going to get done then 5 min before closing all of a sudden nothing. At no point did they give me any type of update or explain the situation to me. No type of communication at all. I don't need someone to smile in my face and yes me to death, I need clear conscience answers about MY Money.
