Angel Walton1Poor customer service at drive through. I have been sick so I choose to go through the drive through so I didn’t get everyone else sick but apparently if you have more than 3 deposits you have to go inside which is fine. But that hasn’t ever been an issue before. And the delivery of her message was very rude. If she doesn’t enjoy her job maybe she should work at a factory or something 🙂

David Beasley1In one bank or another, I have been banking with BB&T/Truist since 1967. First, as Workmen's Federal. Since this merger, our banking customer service experience has been criminal. Today, was their crowning achievement. I must believe that the bank and it's Visa credit card department were intently making our day miserable and fretful. Things today could not have been by chance, they had to be on purpose. If you desire for a miserable day, I recommend BB&T/Truist. They will not let you down

Joey Ellis1I tried to open an account here to help get a savings account started. I set up everything on the app, writing down my password and everything because, yes, I am forgetful and I’m fully aware that if I didn’t I wouldn’t be able to log back in. Making sure everything was set up before going out of the app, I thought I had covered all bases. After closing the app and trying to get back into it not much later I found that I couldn’t log back into the app at all. My password was “wrong” and then I tried resetting the password via email, to no avail. The security questions were also “wrong.” This is not the only problem I had. I also received 4 pieces of mail within 2 days saying the exact same thing, word for word. A piece, even two would have been understandable, but 4 is excessive, not to mention wasteful. Then, to top it all off, I had signed up for text banking because Wells Fargo does the same thing and it’s wonderful. Text “bal all” and you get your balance and that can be expanded to see your recent purchases. This was the same idea but the problem was, every morning at 4am I would get not one, but two texts saying I had a $0.00 negative balance. I understand I’m broke! One message and be done with it. Not two. Not two every morning. And not two every morning at 4am! I feel like this was also excessive and to a point, harrassment. Everyone else I have spoke to about my problems have seemed shocked I had so many problems with them. Maybe it’s just me, but I will not be banking with BB&T now or in the future. I have never had a problem with Wells Fargo and will stick to them until I do.

Sierra Martin1GO TO SKYLINE OR CARTER BANK! They will do you dirty! I’ve got paid and they still charge me an overdraft fee. Bank is a joke. There’s also been times they won’t cash a check because of that overdraft fee. Carter also just charges $25. While they charge you $36.

Robert Quillen1I called this place to close out an account with additional charges on it that I already closed out. First $3.00, which I paid, then 89 cents. The lady I spoke with, Dana, would not work with me or suggest alternatives, and INSISTED I would have to come into the branch over EIGHTY NINE CENTS. I hung up and called the main BB&T phone number, and they were happy to help clear this up. Ten minutes was all it took. This branch did not even suggest calling the main number. I'm aware coming in is procedure, but to not even suggest calling the main number, to insist I have to come into the branch over EIGHTY NINE cents, I consider this absolutely terrible customer service.

Susu Reed (SRJ)5Bank of choice, free checking if you're under 24. Great system for starting a credit card too. The staff here are very polite, consistent and fast as they can be. Any issue I've had was easily taken care of with no hassle.
