  I can not stand BB&T. Literally the worst bank I have ever been with. I switched my accounts to a new bank the end of last year because I had had enough. I went to this location to close my last account. Due to some strange practice at BB&T they wouldn’t allow me to close my last account at that time. They assured me they would close it the next morning. Okay fine, I assume they closed it and that’s on me for believing them. Months later I get a notice from BB&T saying my account is over drafted because the monthly maintenance fee was more than I had in the account (obviously considering I cleared out the account). I call in and speak to them again, they say they’ll refund the money and close the account. I just got another notice saying that BB&T will not refund the over draft fees because there’s no error on my account. So now I have to pay over $100 simply because these employees literally do not do their job or what they say they will do. What an absolute scam of a business. Our healthcare system is better to clients than BB&T! They need to go out of business

  I work 6 to 3pm and I arrive at this location at 330 when I have to make deposits and I'm in line or in the drive thru for more than 40 minutes. Two days In a row I was told by the female bank rep that the system shut down come back tommorow. I call the branch manager and was hung up on. Very unprofessional financial institution.

  There is always a wait at this bank. Even if there’s just one person ahead of you it takes 30 minutes to get your banking done. I just don’t get it.

  Pro tip when you’re rude back to the customer, the customer is going to go around and trash your business in your brand for a really long time. It’s not my fault that your policies go against banking best practices, It’s not my fault that your bank tellers seem to be terrible across-the-board. It seems to be a companywide training issue and apparently your district and regional managers don’t care because your reviews on social media are awful

  I received every bit of assistance I needed, when I was refused by the horrible staff at the Catonsville branch. The Elkridge team is helpful, friendly, and have outstanding customer service. The Catonsville employees could learn a lot from the Elkridge team. Keep up the good work!

  I've been banking with BB&T for decades for both personal and business, and everyone at the Elkridge branch is great! Priya, Jessica and Troy always greet you with a smile and a "How ya doin' today?". I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the drive through and never have a wait when I go inside. Dan and Jessica run a great bank!

  Been in drive through line with one other person to deposit a single check for 20 minutes and counting. So let's hope there was a walk out or something cause this is unacceptable. Last week took similar time no doubt going to different branch every time in the future. If time is important to you, don't come here cause you'll miss plenty of time.

  I have been banking with BB&T for years just using a personal checking account. Recently I went for a large business loan and got it. Next I tried the investment side of things and loved their advice. Finally I needed a large car loan and yet again I got it. During all of these processes my four different contacts went well above the "NORM" and held my hand every step of the way! i will not bank any where else! Talk about a friendly branch, this is what you should picture.

  This is my favorite BB&T location! They are so helpful with all of your needs. Spoke with Jessica & Emily on the phone today and they helped me with all my needs!! If you need a good bank I definitely recommend BB&T!!!
