Big Papa Nick1Stay away from this bank, I have been charged 4 overdraft fees when I’ve had a positive balance the entire time! They refuse to refund them because only one refund is allowed every two years by “policy”. Guess they can just steal 36 dollars whenever they want. What makes it even more funny is that when I opened an account, they made me sign a piece of paper stating my account wasn’t eligible for overdraft.

Juan R.1With such bad service, you’d swear they were a government agency! The only thing slower than them are (arguably) the DMV. I’d like to extol their customer service, but it’s more like disservice. Not only did the employees appear like they were making every effort to run down the clock on a Friday, but you can tell that they were annoyed by having to do their job. We were waiting for over 22 minutes just to close an account. Of this wait, around 4 minutes were standing in line with one person in front of us & another 3 minutes were sitting in the lobby waiting before being addressed. Once they finally got to us, the wait was even longer. The only silver lining was the fact that we finally closed out our account and never need to deal with them again. At this rate, they’re going to go the way of Barnett Bank. Good Riddance!

william s (손원빈)5I start most of my days by going to SunTrust. I am not a morning person and I never liked going to banks. Probably because I'm not a very patient person, but the staff here make everything worthwhile. I started my own business and made an account at this branch. I frequently call this branch to ask questions and the staff have always been professional and patient with me. From the day I opened my account at SunTrust, everyone (I mean literally every teller/banker/manager at this branch) has been so helpful and kind. Miriam and Jennifer made me start like going to banks. I swear if there were more people like them, the world would probably be a better place.

g C2they're nice enough... but an issue i have had a few times is when trying to cash a check (instead of depositing it) they've asked if i have an account with them (uh, yes i do.. i have several and my mortgage is through you). account number and drivers license gets requested for a fifty dollar check, because they don't recognize me... i have been banking with them since they bought out CCB years ago! how long do i have to be a customer before you know who i am?!

Thomas Hudgins1Don't use your debit bank card because the transactions never come out in the order you do them and the next thing you know you have a bunch of overdraft fees which they have no control over.. Don't ever get an account with Suntrust more like steal your money trust that. This has happened more than once as well, called and there was nothing they could do to help.

That White Boy1I’ve never had a problem with Suntrust until I need cash from the atm, when you want to use an atm you better expect to try for 30 minutes and then get a call from the fraud department and then once you sit on the phone with them for an additional 45 minutes you can finally get cash, I’m extremely unhappy about this and will probably be leaving truist as a customer, this is unreasonable especially when you can’t get ahold of anyone from customer service to answer their phone

Charles Casale1Please don't try to cash a check that has you and your spouses name with a joint account. They will not cash it unless you are a celebrity known worldwide. If you are just plain regular folk, forget it. Just take it to a local check cashing business, they are more than happy to do business with you. Spare yourself the aggrivation, bank with soneone you can count on. Charles T. Casale

M P1Slowest bank tellers ever. Let me say that again, slowest.bank.tellers.ever. Pray you are not in a rush and need to go to the bank quickly. Customers that are not prepared also doesn't help the situation.

Ian DeLauder1Deceptive Trade Practices. Bait and switch. Terrible communication. Please look elsewhere for a loan of any type. There are plenty of lenders willing to earn your business, SunTrust is not one of them.
