Truist Reviews

Todd1The slowest service I've ever experienced at a bank. It's as if they simply don't care or have time to deal with customers. Possibly due to a low staff but that's Truist's problem not it's customers.

Sarah Carpenter1Absolutely the worst bank I've ever dealt with. They keep letting fraudulent checks get cashed and/or deposited AND then not reimburse me. They still owe me $15K. Terrible customer service. You have to make an appointment just to speak with a supervisor. I've put in several requests with no results I have 3 business accounts and 2 personal accounts. Been with them (SunTrust) for 11 years! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE IDIOTS. Going to their corporate office tomorrow since you can't get thru on the phone. Next step is going to the media!

Jennifer Linke1Might as well have been one of the closed branches I tried first. Will be closing my account as soon ASAP. So unprofessional.

Cassie Sheldon Strawn1The BBT branch located around the corner from me closed recently. The ATM is not even available for use. The next nearest location from me is at least 20 minutes away, adding up to a nearly one hour ordeal. And now that nearest branch is only open via drive-through 10-3, and this information isn’t even updated on their website. Add to that, no Suntrust banks in my vicinity will honor my account (Suntrust and BBT are merging), and I literally have NO even INCONVENIENT options. I’m currently sitting in the BBT branch located at 3361 Clairmont Road waiting for someone to let me make a deposit into my checking account. I’ve been waiting 23 minutes so far. While the branch manager was so nice and apologetic, this is not the way to conduct business. I am closing my accounts with this institution ASAP and moving to another bank. Not allowing customers access to their own money is a deal breaker.

I&E Dispatch1As many here have clearly stated this bank location is just completely horrible. I’ve decided to leave a review after so so many visits here, 9 out of 10 being very unpleasant. First off, Asking clients to write on a money order that is not theirs. That’s fraudulent. Asking to write down the kinds bills of change I needed back from a hundred, VERY RUDELY, after coming to this location for months doing the EXACT SAME TRANSACTION and letting the clerk know i needed 20’s, 10’s, 5’s and 1’s. Like THATS NOT HARD TO GET????? You just HAD to be rude. Third, always has an issue with deposits. And, Always having an attitude and being so demanding in simple transactions. I understand it’s your job and it may not be the one you like but if you can’t treat your customers with respect and courtesy and CUSTOMER SERVICE then go find another job. It’s incredible that a bank has so many negative reviews.

Jim Woolley4I've Been a Customer at BB&T on Clairmont next Door to The Variations Condomiums Just before Buford Hwy, & they have Always been Very Courteous to me and go out of their way to accommodate me in anyway possible! BETTER YET THEY ARE THE ONLY BANK I KNOW OF THAT ARE OPEN UNTIL 5pm Monday - THURSDAY Which I Find Very Useful‼️

Margaret Watkins3Fair to hateful experiences from the manager & long time teller are the norm at this location. Not typical of BBT! Now they have a male teller who is polite & efficient. It seems he is the only one really working while the others are occupied with personal issues. Appreciate him.

JJ Johnson2BB&T has a friendly staff in their branch locations. I have several bank accounts and by far BB&T has the worse self help systems. On several occasions I was unable to deposit cash into the ATM. Their Mobie app is not user friendly at all. The only thing the app is good for is checking the balance of my BB&T accounts and finding locations. I attempted to make a transfer to another BB&T account (separate from my own) through the app and it was unsuccessful. This was a total inconvenience.

Courtney Lue1I’ve been banking here for years and every time I go I get treated worse. There is a skinny teller with long curly hair who is the rudest customer service professional I’ve have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I’ve have had to do three plus transactions with her and everyone single time she condescends to me and using an incredibly hostile tone. Take your business elsewhere. I’m going to.
