J.D. Applen4Overall, good. The bank tellers are nice and competent, but when you ask the people at the "desks" for any help, they have told me to go online and fix it. Sometimes the online assistance features can be buggy and if you go to the people at the Colonial/Bumby branch they usually don't want to help you. Perhaps they are overwhelmed, but I also know that they will put a lot of energy into getting you to open a new kind of credit card or some other account with them. Still, I have never been treated rudely by anyone here as others have said. Years ago I took out a smallish loan for home improvement and I asked one of the desk people what was 2.99 percent per year of 10,000 dollars in an effort to make sure there were not any strange back end fees or funny math, and rather just say 299 dollars, he had to work it out on a calculator and still got it wrong. This guy was a banker. This was most likely a one off, and I haven't seen him at this branch for awhile, but I have to tell the story anyway. The others can do the math.

I was welcomed normally when entering (little nervous being I was asking for a loan transfer) Hung Nguyen so joyfully greeted me and I went into his office. I never smiled, laughed and felt so comfortable at a bank before! He is so professional, yet so endearing, very efficient! Hung’s energy was of none other! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THANK YOU Truist!! ( formally known as BB&T ) for him & making me comfortable and smile:)

F. Kim E1On Thursday, 04/02/2020 at approx. 12:00 pm I arrived at BB&T (Dr. thru window) along with my wife. I wanted to deposit $150.. I gave the cash, my pictured BB&T ATM card, and stated what I wanted to do. I was denied service (by a wht. F/M w/freckles) She advised me that the rules at BB&T has changed and because I didn't have picture ID and she didn't know me she refused to accept my deposit. I asked for the supervisor and she advised me that she wasn't available for about 30 minutes. The tone of her voice was very condescending. I was made to feel criminalize, belittled, and disrespected. I chose to travel several miles away to do business at another BB&T (BB&T University Branch) where I have always receive professional treatment and didn't experience this problems.

Alex R1Horrible customer service and horrible predatory behaviour. Ps if you end up with a credit card from this place their first trick is to send your card late . After that you need your car to setup automatically payment and unbelievably it takes them 30 days to set up the payment after your request so basically you will be late on your first payment because they want to collect late fees for their customers. Last but not least you can't make 2 payments on your account because they will decide which one to keep and which one to delete without your knowledge. Fake claims of insufficient funds on payment accounts and finally close your account because they don't care about the customers.

It makes it very convenient for deposits and withdrawals I need to make and on top of that, the staff here have a very warm and welcoming vibe. I would recommend this bank to anyone who is in need of any loans or just to open a checking and savings account! Opening an account in the branch is a quick process with the branch banker named Reza! Any loans? Speak to the manager, Hung! For any and all questions or needs, visit the lovely ladies at the teller line and they will be sure to answer all your questions and concerns! Wonderful staff and clean facility!

Howard Painter2Great people but they have no access to the mortgage department. I had an insurance claim for hail damage. The roof has been replaced and I continue to get threatening letters from the mortgage department saying to notify them to inspect. I call the number and I am on hold for hours, tried 3 times to contact the mortgage department.....

Rickie M1This bank is a joke they will charge you $35 for going over a dollar 47 after you opted out of going over. I recommend to stay away from his bank as far as you can hide your money under your mattress if you have to

nancy phan5I've been with BBT for more than 4 years and I love this location. Mr. Reza and Mr. Hung are professional, friendly and always there to help you. If I have a problem, I just need to email them, they will get back to me within 10 minutes and my problem was solved in the same day. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED this location.
