Pipe Smoking Deputy4231EVERYONE BE AWARE OF INTERNAL THEFT at BBT/Truist 203 Broyles Drive in Johnson City, TN. I recently had a teller steal a $100 bill on a deposit at that location. After an “internal investigation” a representative/manager from BBT/Truist told me they never “received the cash,” and basically called me a liar.

Kristen D1I have given it a year thinking 2020 was the reason for their rude attitude. Nope it is just how they treat people.

Debbie Mason1We have banked with BB&T for 12+ years. However finally fed up with the way the bank has changed over the years. We will be closing our account this week. Our accounts at ECU have never had any of the issues BB&T does. They will be getting all of our business now.

Rob Vega1My debit card number was used fraudulently to purchase almost $1,200 in goods from Ashley Furniture and Walmart, and was being delivered to an address in Georgia. This bank didn't flag the charges, didn't contact me so I could tell them to stop payment, and wouldn't put the money back in my account while they conducted a fraud investigation. I didn't get my money back for OVER 10 days! I finally got it back on the 11th day, but I've never had a bank first let the charges go through, and secondly hold onto my money for that long. I know for a fact that the money was refunded back to the bank from the retailers within 3 days, yet BB&T left me with barely $150 in my account for 11 days. This "bank" SUCKS! Many of their practices are completely different from real banks, and the manager of this particular branch must have received his training via mail order, because his solution was "Well this wouldn't happen if they had stolen your credit card number instead of your debit card. Would you like us to sign you up for a credit card?". No, idiot, I want my FDIC and VISA insured money back in my account!
