Truist Reviews

Ryan Donley1I switched my checking accounts to Wells Fargo and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I left a credit card open through SunTrust, which is now Truist, and I have been trying to make a payment for a week straight through their phone service. Stupid thing will not put me in contact with a representative so I can make the dang payment! I’ve tried at least 5 different times! Cannot wait to cancel my account and cut ties with this establishment 👍🏻

Mary1I’ve dealt with many banks over the years and TRUIST has by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. No one answers the phone ever. No one ever calls you back ever. And the toll free customer service puts you on hold forever it seems and never actually answers. This bank has long long lines and the bankers who handle other situations that are more involved are as slow as molasses. You can book an appointment on line, but it is not honored. I know several people who are changing banks.

Timekia Palmer1The nastiest employees I have ever seen. I went here to cash a business check because this is the bank that the check was drawn on. I brought all verification to make sure that I could be identified as the owner. Once I made it to the teller and asked about cashing the check. She keyed in some info and then asked the other teller to come over. I already expected it to be an issue with the other teller (Marilyn) because the entire time we were in line she had a rude/nasty demeanor. She looked at the check and rudely said we can't cash it. Before I could ask any questions or anything she replied again we can't cash it . I was not even upset about the fact that I couldn't cash the check. I was shocked by the blatant rudeness and disrespect by Marilyn. If she would have taken a moment to listen I would have just easily opened a new business account there. However based on the service I received today I find it highly unlikely that I would bring Any of my businesses here. Honestly I can see why that have such a low rating.

Jo Reddish1I’ve been a customer with this bank for many many years. And unfortunately, over the years the customer service has gone downhill. I was just placed on hold for over 50 minutes with customer service then mysteriously, the call ended. No call back at all and this has been the norm lately. I’ve scheduled two appointments online for an agent to call me back and that has not happened either. There are too many options for banking to be treated this poorly. I will be leaving this bank ASAP!

Matt Hodges (LiveTheAdventure)1While waiting in line today witnessed a older gentleman pass out in the lobby. Luckily there was a customer waiting that was a nurse. Hardly any tellers, and the ones that are there look like they couldn’t care less about you or your business. Certainly didn’t care about the older gentleman. The whole Suntrust company is just sad (they’ve now merged with BB&T to make Truist), but Suntrust is the top dog in that merger. I’ve never seen or spoken to someone who had a good thing to say about this bank or company as a whole.

Amity Mcgee1Zero is not an option. I have been to this bank three times to close my account and still I am getting fees. Met with manager after waiting one hour each time. Called her and confirmed it was closed. Transferred the money to MidFLorida because the account was closed. Now getting charged fees. HATE THIS BANK

Cindy Fowler1Everytime I have went to this bank there is a ridiculous line of 8 to 12 or more people. So slow, no drive through and either 1 or 2 tellers working. No sense of urgency. I moved here and mistakenly picked a bank closest to my house. I dread the hassle of moving to a new bank but I can not stand the terrible service here.

Karlyn Adams1Ridiculous wait times, 2 hours and 30 minutes on hold only to be hung up on! This has been the most frustrating transition from SunTrust to Truist, I always had wonderful customer service with SunTrust and now it's the complete opposite!

Moe Cam1I’m sick of this bank. Bad reviews are correct. I’m honestly disgusted on the lack of customer service. ATM in the right lane had no option for a deposit, the one in the left lane is out of service. Walk in the lobby, one lady behind the counter, on the computer. Wasn’t assisting anyone. The other helping with a deposit. No one has a sense of urgency. Three people waiting in line, no one is moving along. About five people seated waiting for a banker to open up. Just wanted to make a deposit and couldn’t stand being inside with no type of recognition or assistance. Will not return.

Vanessa Martinez1Nothing but bad experiences since I moved to this location rather than the Haines city location. The 1st ATM is always “temporarily out of service” and the 2nd doesn’t allow you to place a deposit. So when your account goes overdraft and you have the money in your hands to deposit they should take that into consideration. The ATM inside is “temporarily out of service” as well. It’s just annoying after working a 12hr shift and having to deal with the machines not working. If it was once in a while it’s okay. ITS AN EVERY DAY THING.
