Tried to call the Pottstown Branch multiple times and was on hold for over an hour multiple times. One call the the Boyertown Branch and Michelle answered the phone right away and was super friendly and informative! Had to call a different day and got the same response. Thanks guys

Recently closed out both accounts and home equity line. NEVER AGAIN will I bank there or refer anyone! Recommending to my family to do the same. Error after error and then assessed charges on banks error. Spent months trying to straighten out their mess with promises of charges to be refunded. Still waiting on that since Oct 2016. Marketing bank manager promises call back and quick remedy! HAHAHA. Don't hold your breath!! No call back! No remedy! Worst banking experience in my 59 years of life! Beware! You will need to check you accounts daily! Run!!!!

This is what was told to me by their Branch Manager or VP. His response to a refund for a second overdraft charge was, "Well, I can't help you. Unless you're going to do 10s of $1,000s a month in transactions with us, I can't help, why don't you take your business to TD Bank or someplace else." My response was, "you're going to lose a customer over a $40 charge" which he replied, "get out of my office, I don't consider you a customer". It was all because their overdraft protection doesn't pay the charge like some other banks, it only blocks it. If the first one would've just paid the $20, I would've paid the $40 in overdraft fees and been fine. The main problem I have is, he's a VP and refused to offer ANYTHING in writing about overdraft charges, said he only helps people with $10,000 or more in their account, and told me as a small bank they don't work with the smaller customers, go with another bank like TD. Commerce/TD is great, they have better hours, more locations, involved in the community and have always resolved any problems I've run into, especially with fees.

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Terrible policies. This branch in particular, no hours online or at the door and when I tried to do business the clerk gave me a dirty look because they weren't open. This account will be closed as soon as my last check clears!

The Only problem I have with this bank, is that when I tried to call yesterday to see if they were open today, it just rang. No recording. Nothing. I heard that if a company doesn't at least have an answering machine, it's bad for business. If this is true, hopefully they'll fix this issue.

The beginning was pretty rocky as staff switched from National Penn to BB&T. It appears as if everyone is trying to keep the lines shorter and service faster. I give them a 3 at this point.

If I could love a bank, this would be it. Always insuring that my accounts are secure. Lots of security online. When I visit the bank they always greet me by name.
