Truist Reviews

R Rose1The people at the Salisbury North branch are the rudist, unhelpful people working in customer service that I have ever met. I had fraud on my account, and no one tried to help me. None of these people need to be working in customer service. They are rude and nasty. Truist need a zero rating. I don't appreciate anything about this bank. I had been with BB & T for over forty years, and everyone was just wonderful and helpful. Evidently Truist mission is to get them in and out, if they don't like it let them do their banking elsewhere. Thank goodness that they are not the only bank in existence.

Tommy Todd1The branch in salisbury was unreal. It was like the three employees just started that day. There was only two people in the bank and me being one of them and It took forever. After about 15 minutes one finally said she could help me. I truly could not believe how bad the service was. That was my first and last time to that bank. UNREAL.

Deja Hagaman10 stars. They are either really short staffed or haven't had good training. I called....was asked to hold...I said of course. 10 minutes later I was hung up on. I call back and the girl who answered doesn't even ask me to hold...she just says hold please and puts me on hold. waited another 10 minutes and was still never helped. I hung up and I will not be getting my loan threw them.

Danielle Kell1If I could give this place a zero star review I would, this is absolutely ridiculous. Came to the bank twice in two days during business hours got denied BOTH times because the lady said she wasn’t going to over work herself. I needed to wire money in a time sensitive scenario and had my wife stranded in another state for 4 days because of this bank. The person running it should legit be fired I can’t believe this is even how a bank is operating. I PULLED ALL MY MONEY AND SWITCHED BANKS. I highly suggest you take your money elsewhere. Unreliable, unreliable, unreliable and RUDE !

Dave Etheridge1I've been a customer of SunTrust for a very long time and I've been a customer at this branch since I moved to the area in 2004. I've had several mortgages with SunTrust and have had savings and checking accounts with them. I went to this branch on Wednesday, March 10 get something notarized and the doors to the bank were locked. I guess it's still a Covid thing. I called today, Thursday, March 11, to make an appointment to get my form notarized. An employee named Erica answered the phone. I explained what I needed and she asked when I'd like to come in. I asked her about Friday, March 12. She put me on a hold and 10 seconds later another employee picked up the call and said that Erica was busy with business loans and wouldn't be able to make time to notarized my paper. She offered the Easton or Ocean City branches as alternatives. She then suggested I try B B & T. I reminded her that I was a customer at SunTrust and not B B & T. She said she understood but these are "trying times." I guess B B & T isn't exposed to these same trying times for her to recommend them. It's something how something as small as this could prompt a long-term customer to consider closing his accounts and moving his business to another bank. It wasn't trying times when Erica, who I believe is the branch manager, called me to come in so SunTrust could invest my money. A very poor experience.

W C1Their still not open inside after Maryland has opened up. But then again they were slow before this to. I would go inside and it would take atleast 15 minutes for a teller. They only have one drive through so be prepared to sit in line for 20- 30 minutes atleast if not longer. This is by far the worst bank I've ever had to deal with! Wouldn't recommend using them if you can avoid it!!!

TOM ROHRER1The manager at Carroll Street branch was rude, mean and nasty to my wife on the telephone. We needed to wire some of "our" money for a real estate settlement and was told nobody could do this in Salisbury until Monday....6 days later. Seriously!! So I had to drive to Ocean City to get it done. Oh..and while I was there...closed my account with SunTrust....I'll be at PNC in the morning for sure. Totally bad customer service.

J M1Called about potential possibly fraud spoke a person at the Salisbury branch not very helpful was explaining was I experienced. Trying to reach out curiosity call. Once she figured out I was trying to help...she said that I had a attitude...wow. Even asked to speak to someone else could possibly help me. We don't really need to have people like Evet. I always thought that Banking Institutions were much better then this when they are dealing with people, and their money or even investments. I'm glad my mortgage was with someone else. Jmo

Eric Chatham1The only reason I even go to this bank is because its the only one my car loan is through. The bank is TERRIBLY SLOW! Be sure to bring a Steven King novel while you wait in the slowest drive-thru that accepts pedestrian walk-ups? Talk about safety hazards. This bank is by far the WORST BANK to exist. Please do your best and choose a different bank. Plenty of options. SunTrust is rather pathetic

Craig Faunce1Worst bank possibly on planet earth. The ATM is constantly not working. The bank hours mean nothing because they do nit open when they don’t have enough help. I just generally hate this bank
