Marion Decker1Very bad customer service. The manager Dara Kane is very friendly at the beginning, after I opened my account and had a question she didn’t get back to me in a week. She promised that would never happen again and that she usually would respond very fast. I have the second time problems with my account now and I contacted her again - same thing. She doesn’t care. I also tried to contact the suntrust customer service. Very rude and didn’t care. They told me to talk with Dara what is great since she never responded to my emails. Wouldn’t recommend this bank.

First they couldn't read my license and asked If I had a passport , when I said I can be back within 5 minutes with it then changed to not being able to help unless they re-enroll me in store. Something didn't feel right so I left and went to the branch a few miles South who helped me within 5 minutes (Thank you Brandon). I'd post the original ladies name that refused to help me but it won't matter, she talked to the manager and the manager refused also so it's a whole branch thing vs an isolated incident.

Kelly Frank1If I could give a zero, I would. I have never written a negative review on any company every before in my life but this one takes the cake and needs to be written. Due to Covid, I have had a nightmare of a time trying to open a new business bank account. The hours of the bank being open are limited and if you work a full day, getting into the bank to do anything is a struggle. I took off on a Monday to get much of this type of errand completed. I went into the bank and the manager, Dara Kane, who has been with Suntrust for 17 years and will now be Truist, (which I will make sure to write my review again if in the event this one gets deleted due to Suntrust going away to merge with BB& T), helped me to get my account opening completed. She was as nice as could be while I was there. She explained that it would be about a week for my card to show up and so not being able to see my account online yet, or have my card, I wanted to make sure my funds were there and get my online banking up and running. Days later, I left work early to get to the bank by 3:30 to get my online banking up and running so I could see my funds and set up some bill pay. Dara was busy and no one else could help me so I waited for Dara until 4:15 before she and her associate (who was rude to me the first time I walked into the bank) rudely with an attitude said she would be about an hour (mind you the bank closes at 4 pm) with the client she had in her office. Needless to say, I am closing the account and taking my business elsewhere. An attitude from a bank manager... Dara Kane, you are a horrible person, let alone a manager. No one should wait 45 minutes to get an attitude coupled with a lie. You wanted to leave when you were done with the client you were wrapping up with. Horrible.
