  We considered working directly with our bank to get a home loan, but a friend recommended Heidi Daunt at Treehouse to help us get the best rate. Using them was an unexpectedly good move for us. Not only did they help us get an amazing rate, they shielded us from the whole process (which is insanely complicated and messy) so we didn't have to manage it ourselves, which would have been super stressful. Bottom line: I would never advise somebody try to do this themselves unless they're a glutton for punishment. Work with Treehouse, you'll be so glad you did!
