Juan Arellano Jr1Horrible company, I got screwed by this company be cause their app is terrible. I tried making a payment one day and was notified by te app that the payments section wasn’t working at this time try again later. I did just that and was able to get a confirmation of my payment. Cut to the next day I have two payments deducted from my bank account, which causes my account to go negative. I call them up explain what happened and they basically tell me their app is not their responsibility, and it’s my fault. How is their app not their responsibility. They did say they’d give me a refund but not include my over draft fee. So now I have literally no money for the next couple of days because refunds take 24-72 hours to process. Last Toyota I ever buy thanks to these representatives.

Aleah Regnier1Thank goodness we closed and transferred our account. Toyota Financial Services call center is lacking customer service completely!!! This last call with someone going by the name of Carly was the worst yet. She spoke with an attitude, acted as if I was ignorant, cut me off repeatedly, etc. They really need to learn proper notations of each call. I had to re-explain everything and received nothing but a run around about my account... probably because they owed me money! I highly suggest finding a different loan servicer!!

Angela Ta3I , Vincent H. submitted a cashier check via express mail to this Toyota financing office in anticipation of their completion of our lease buyout process timely and accordingly. However 4 working business days later after their receipts of our express mail on 3/21/2020 confirmed by the carrier’s mail tracker. 3/26, Thursday I was told on the phone by its customer service rep. that they had just received the check 3/25 and would take about 30 days to process the fund and get a payoff paper out to us. I have asked if I can get a PDF copy of payoff statement via e-mail first rather than waiting for the paper via US postal mail. Then I am told they don’t have the capability of doing that. What kind of financing company is this? A place is lack of efficiency and placing a hurdle (will take 30 days) on releasing paper (only) pay-off statement once cashed their client’s cashier’s check. I wish to give them negative 5 if the rating scale allowing us to do so.

Roger Richter1This company is the WORST in customer service. Long story short, bought out my lease so I could sell the car, started the process well in advance so I would have the title when I listed. First they sent the wrong payoff information and it took over a week to inform me. Second, I overnighted (at my cost) payments and information to provide the title, I simply asked they expedite this because of their mistake...nothing. Additionally, I have spoken with 11-12 customer service reps and I get a different story/explanation almost every time, very irresponsible. You have no communication with anyone who can make a decision and their process is extremely frustrating. Toyota makes some excellent vehicles but I would NEVER RECOMMEND financing/leasing through Toyota Financial.

Vincent Huang1I submitted a cashier check along with my lease buyout signed forms to this Toyota financial office by Express Mail which being confirmed by express mail carrier’s tracker that was delivered on 3/21/2020. However 4 working business later, ( on 3/26) I made a follow-up call to this office and was told they just received the check on 3/25 and would take about 30 days to process the payoff. Then I requested if they can send me a PDF payoff copy first through E-mail rather than having me wait for the payoff paper via postal mail. They told me they don’t have the capacity and capability doing that. What kind of financial services this company is providing besides cashing their customers checks? In addition to being lack of efficiency (30 days to process a buyout payoff); they are placing hurdles (don’t provide PDF payoff statement at all) to their customers. I wish there was a rating scale with negatives, Toyota Financial Services deserves a “-5”.

Rich Howell1Never had a worse experience with any company. Every time I called for information, I got a different answer. After calling for a payoff amount on my lease, and paying it, I was notified months later that I still owed a payment. I argued, but to no avail. Then, when turning the car in, I was charged the "customary" $350 end-of-lease charge. Two months later, I was notified that I was being charged an additional $500 for damage, even though I had taken the car to my body shop to prep it for turn in. It was pristine when I turned it in. Neither I, nor my family, will ever do business again with Toyota Financial.

They will gaslight you, steal your money and be able to tell you where it went, they won't give you what you are trying to buy, lose your paperwork repeatedly, and give you the run around from department to department. If you are recovering from the pandemic like the rest of us save your money and sanity and buy direct from an in person dealer!

Angela Jones5Every time I call Toyota Financial everyone is always friendly, polite, and willing to help in any way they can. I cannot say the same for the staff at the dealership however dealing with them is worth it for the excellent customer service through the phone. I have never had an issue they weren't able to resolve.

I called a few days ago to make additional payments and the Rep screwed it up and it reflected on my account that my next monthly due payment in a few days would be $3277. I called this morning and after verifying my information 3 times Kim ID number KSLC was cutting me off when I was trying to understand how this number happened. and after she realized that her colleague hadn't explained the process correctly, she didn't even have the courtesy to apologize! very very bad customer service, its not only about how good a car is but also about the after customer service you'll be receiving.
