  We recently completed the mortgage process with Todd Marumoto for a second time. He's very knowledgeable and just an email, text, or call away. Todd walked us through the home loan process in a very understandable manner. He also promptly responds to questions and gave us a heads up anytime there were important documents to sign. It was a pleasure working with Todd and his team whether in person (8 years ago) or fully virtually this time around.

  I have been a Real Estate Professional for over 34 years. I have known Todd since he was a senior in high school. After he graduated from college, became a loan officer and joined Intercoastal Mortgage, I gave him a transaction to see how he and Intercoastal would handle the loan process. The transaction went through without a hitch and I have been using Todd and Intercoastal Mortgage ever since, not just for clients but for me personally (I just refinanced my own mortgage with Todd and the process was easy and stress-free from beginning to end). Because his underwriter is across the hall from his office, Todd can tell you if you are going to have a problem with any loan and also provide a solution to the problem. I cannot remember a loan with Todd and Intercoastal that did not go to closing.   Todd is extremely knowledgeable and was very helpful throughout our loan process. We are first time buyers and had quite a lot of questions about the borrowing process, he walked us through the process. He is very approachable and he answered all of our questions no matter when we reached out to him. He helped us with getting our documents together for the loan application. We got an interest rate that was much lower than we expected which was a pleasant surprise. We were supposed to close on our home in 21 days. Todd's team was quick and very responsive through the application process and they made sure we were able to settle on time. Our loan application was relatively painless and smooth. We would definitely recommend Todd as a loan officer to our friends and family.

  Todd is seriously the best. My wife and I recently worked with Todd to simultaneously refinance our current house, and buy a new house (both loans closed within 2 weeks of each other). Needless to say there were some technical hurdles to wade through but Todd was with us every step of the way. Todd is extremely proactive, crosses all the T's and dots all the I's to ensure underwriting won't come back with questions. Additionally, when you call him I guarantee you the phone will not ring more than 2 or 3 times before he picks up. You say hello on the phone and he knows your application information and status right away! He is seriously really good at what he does. As long as Todd is around we will without a doubt be going back to him for our next home loan.
