  Ian and his team were recommend to me by a friend who previously worked with them. My experience working with other lenders was proving to be difficult, and Ian made the home buying process so much easier. We started off with a conversation about what my goals were and he did a great job putting me at ease with all the stresses of being a first time home buyer. When it was time to close, his team was able to move fast and they were very responsive.   Ian was fantastic to work with. I would absolutely recommended him and his team at McLean Mortgage to anyone looking to buy a home or refinance. He was extremely communicative every step of the way, including "Video Updates Friday"! (my personal favorite white glove service of his) Ian was knowledgeable and made time to answer all of our questions, no matter how crazy they were. He even helped push things along with our Title Company when we felt they were kind of dragging their a bit since we had an unusually long closing timeframe for the DC area.   Ian found me the best interest rate for my mortgage. We had an initial zoom call where he went over my situation, goals, and the process. Ian was always super responsive when I needed a pre-approval letter which was crucial in this crazy housing market. Ian always kept my realtor and I in the loop during the closing process. He closed the financing portion of my house in two weeks which was an impressive feat. He is friendly, efficient and on top of things. I would work with him again and definitely recommend him to others!
