  Ive been a customer since I was a kid. I pawn my stuff when things are slow and when things are good, I buy jewelry. they have some great prices on used items that look like new.

  Have done business here in the past and had good experiences. Today however I was only offered 2% rather than 35% of the spot price, then they tried to completely ignore the fact the piece has several diamonds in it. Gold is on the high end today, very high actually, first they denied this, which is just insulting to my intelligence! Anyone can look up the market rate and most of us can do basic math. *Update Response This business has responded, denying the facts. At the time I wrote the original review I had the numbers offered and price point on market, unfortunately that was over a year ago and I no longer have that proof. However I'm NOT mistaken and I was accurate in my review and claim. Please do not try and suggest I've made a mistake when I know what was offered and what the market rate was. I do not gain anything from these reviews and am as honest as possible before I write. It insults mine and readers intelligence to say it didn't happen when there is obviously no reason here for dishonesty on my part, it doesn't reflect well on you. With regards~

  Im sorry but there is some sort of miss understanding. We have never offered 2% or even 35% of spot prices. We pay 75% to 90% of spot depending on the items and the amount of the items sold. We pay on diamonds and will pay more than spot if the items are re-saleable condition.

  I honestly don’t get where the negative reviews are coming from, Gold Mine Inc is the best around the Chelsea area, I deal with them every other week getting a loan, they Are professional, honest, and efficient. This has been my honest experience with them. Shout out to Gold Mine inc!!

  My family has been using this business for years. My parents started purchasing jewelry from Sal the owner for many of years. I'm the second generation and I have been purchasing jewelry from Steven , Sal's son. I have purchase and had custom jewelry designed from them. Steve has been honest and fear with all his services.   Rude and unprofessional. While I didn't let things progress to the level where I can personally vouch for their dishonesty, the shady vibe was pretty thick in the air. Love it when people step up to perpetuate timeless stereotypes; this is your typical sleazy pawnshop.

  We have been in business for 37 years. We are far from the pawn shop stereotype, stepping into our store is like waking into a Jewelry store. Unfortunately this is just another fake google review by a fake gmail account. An account which only rates Pawn Shops with negatives. Im sure its an unscrupulous competitor.

  The Gold Mine is an excellent place to do business with. They are a friendly store who provide great service and professional repairs. I have always been made to feel welcome in their store. Family owned for years. You will not be disappointed! I highly recommend Steve and all his folks at The Goldmine.

  Girl at counter was extremely rude, would rather be on her phone then helping customers. I saw the low rating but decided to give it a chance because it was so close to where I was. No professionalism, horrible customer service, disgusting shop appearance. All in all don’t waste your time money and effort.
