  Do not even bother wasting your time getting a mortgage with Farmers National Bank. First off, they do not keep your appointment times/mess them up (I scheduled a time to have someone call me, nobody did, and then when I tried calling them they said that the appointment was scheduled in the bank - well that was news to me! Even so, they had all my information. Why not call and follow up?) When I did not hear from them, I tried calling them and was bounced around to a few different people and then was given someone who wasn't able to answer any questions about a mortgage. At that time, I insisted on speaking with the loan officer who did call me back. However, she rushed through things and gave me a loan estimate that 2.5% off from what the rate was after the application. When I questioned why it was so off, she said she didn't have all the inputs required to get a more accurate loan estimate. While I understand that, we went through a series of questions before she could even get the loan estimate - if something was going to affect it, why not actually ask those items? Even if she was rushed, I asked her to call me after sending the Loan Estimates. This was on a Thursday. I also asked for follow up on a Friday. Nothing. I then start asking questions via e-mail and am told to apply online. I apply, am given errors. I provide it back and am told to enter it in a new way and just know the rate would be 0.25% more than what was quote. NOPE all lies. Lured under false pretenses, now have a hard hit on my credit report to find out that the rate 2.5% more than the original quote and the initial agreement that I only had to put 10% down was no longer an option. I wouldn't have wasted my time or the hard inquiry if she would have been upfront and honest and not deceptive. DO NOT USE FARMERS NATIONAL BANK UNLESS YOU WANT A HORRIBLY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE AND A Rate that was 2.75% higher than other lenders with the same percent (20) down.

  Just got off of the phone with airhead manager Liza. This bank stole $37 from my account. DO NOT BANK HERE! The wire app Zelle will not link up with their bank even though it says they are a member. Just another way they can rob more. I contacted customer service as mentioned. NO HELP!

  My partner and I did two commercial loans with Randall Labrie at Farmers in Pittsburgh. It was a great experience from day 1. Randall was professional, responsive, had his ducks in a row, and we closed both loans with time to spare. He even drove up to Erie when our sellers were a bit difficult and unorganized leading up to closing. I highly recommend Farmers. A great local bank with a real understanding of the self storage business!

  I would recommend never using this bank for any of your banking needs. I am in the real estate business and I work with a number of banks. We go through the loan process quite often. I proposed a multi million dollar deal to this bank after meeting with their President Bob Vernick and them expressing their interest in doing business. I electronically sent the deal and all of the common documents you would present in a real estate deal. I never received any correspondence on the deal. When I called Bob Vernick to see where the communication was lost, he told me that they did "call" me back and present to me via phone, the checklist needed for the deal. I told him that was not true, his Lender never called me, and his response to me was he is standing behind "his guy". No Professional in the lending business would call a client and provide them a Lender checklist over the phone for a multi million dollar deal. Trust me when I tell you, working with this bank will be a complete waste of your time and energy.

  If I could give this bank 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worst bank I have ever worked with. You can not deposit checks at their atm, their app is completely useless I know freshmen’s in a high school computer class could make something better than that. The staff has ZERO communication with you. I leave a deposit every other Saturday (in a ridiculous drop box because again you can not deposit at an atm and they are only open until 4pm everyday) and leave my phone number to call me if their are any problems my account has been locked leaving with no money until the next business day they are open. Not even able to withdraw cash from their atm. Not to mention their hours are 9am-4pm I am not sure how many working person is supposed to work with a bank with hours like that when you have zero capabailities at the atm and on the website. You would be better off leaving your cash in a mattress at home then using this bank.

  I love this bank! The staff are great and are always willing to assist with anything. They made me feel so welcome when I opened my account. I'm not sure what the few negative reviews are about, some people are not happy unless they are complaining. Your failed bank is gone...get over it!

  I had a money market account with United American Savings Bank (UASB) for many years. Farmers National Bank bought UASB a few months ago and took over the account. I just opened my statement and they debited my account $5 for an “Inactivity Fee”. Oh yeah, and they lowered the interest rate by 2/3 too. I’ll be closing my account ASAP and will never do business with Farmers National Bank again.

  Poor service. Took over a very local bank and totally lost the local feel. People are not very educated on their system. Simple transactions took forever. Would not put my money in this bank
