  Ian was absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. He filled out our mortgage application both quickly and accurately, he was able to secure an interest rate lower than we were expecting and he kept us updated throughout the whole process. Even when he said he wouldn't be available for a few hours or a few days, he always managed to get back to us very quickly. I am very impressed with both Ian and with Movement Mortgage and would use them again with no hesitation.

  Over the years we have purchased 3 homes, which means 3 different mortgages! I must say that not all lenders are created equal!!!!! Ian did an incredible job, was always available, and offered the best package. Our first mortgage lender was ok, second was good and third (Ian) was EXCEPTIONAL!!! His team operates like a well oiled machine! Highly recommend The Chi Team for all of your mortgage and refinancing needs!!!

  I’ve known Ian for over ten years. We recently reconnected on FB and I noticed that he was in the mortgage business and was also down here in San Diego. My wife and I had been thinking about refinancing our mortgage using the VA streamline refinance so I hit up Ian to ask him how well versed he is in using the VA IRRL. He got back to me pretty quickly and let me know that he is well versed in it along with having helped many service members utilize it. We got started on the process and quickly had all of our documentation taken care of. We also closed pretty quickly to allow us to defer two payments which helped put us in a better financial spot. I highly recommend if you’re looking to either buy a new place or refinance somewhere that you are already living that you give Ian and The Chi team a chance!

  Ian and his team were great from our first call as he was boarding a plane back from a vacation. Their online app to gather documents and information to get our pre approval letter was simple and easy, and you continue to use the same app as you go through underwriting which is nice instead of switching like with some other lenders. He was great at explaining rates, what is safe/conservative in loan amounts given our income, and made sure our questions were answered once we were under contract ensuring we were aware what we would be charged or refunded from the sellers later. Their rate was comparable to the one other lender we explored, and but fees and closing costs were low and we also went with no points which are almost always included in advertised promotional rates. I would highly recommend working with Ian for your next property purchase to know you will have someone you can trust to answer your questions and provide feedback and detailed estimates through the whole process.
