Have banked here several years.I am bad about losing debit cards.When I went there to get another one they refused to give me one. The lady I talked to was very rude.I should have refreshed there memory when they took 600 dollars out of my account by mistake and paid my brothers truck paymentLong story short closed my account
Literally the worst bank I've ever had. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not impressed and although they can be helpful, there were always so many issues with my account that took at least 24 hours to resolve. Went on for a week when I opened my account, I will never put money in this bank again.Response from the owner

Been a customer for 3 years had a bad experience last week the bank of marion main branch did above and beyond thier duty to fix it and it got fixed and I'm happy.
It’s great when it works properly. Neither the website or the app works half the time. Either the loading bar fails to load all the way or it tells you there’s no accounts to view. The ATM and online banking will both give you different balance amounts causing you to either overspend or freak the hell out. I don’t know what other bank I would recommend but I wouldn’t recommend this one.Response from the owner
Thank you for your comments, Mr. Hale. If your issues with online banking occurred yesterday (Tuesday, June 30), they were likely caused by widespread power outages in and around Marion. The outages coincided with electrical storms in the region and temporarily affected online banking, telephone systems, and other operations. We apologize for the inconvenience. Everything should be back to normal this morning or very soon if they are not already.
I have been a Bank of Marion customer for some time now, since my first job in 2005. Over the years they served me well, but lately the customer service has gone down hill. They don't keep their promises and what they say will happen doesn't happen. I have been finding this happening increasingly more often. Credit card payments not being applied when they are supposed to be and loan payments being applied incorrectly, even after calling them to set it up. This has caused problems with other bills, especially since they are closed on the weekend, and the money is held until it can be corrected on Monday. I'm thinking seriously of going back to old school paper checks and carrying my own cash.
The Bank of Marion is a big bank but it still has small bank feel to it. If you have any issues they will always find a way and time to talk with you. I highly recommend them and their services.
Would give this bank zero stars if able. Most ridiculous bank I have ever delt with! In the last 2 weeks, this bank has added someone else to our account and deposited their money to ours and didn't know until my husband told them, approved and posted a large purchase then credited the money back and then took it back out and tried to say the purchase happened a week later!
The staff and team that work at The Bank of Marion are local and they have personal relationship with their customers. This makes it easier for them to meet our needs I highly recommend the staff and services available at The Bank of Marion.
I have been a customer of The Bank of Marion for over 25 years now. They're all very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. No matter what the question is they can find a answer for you without waiting hours on the phone! Very convenient, I highly recommend.
