Hello very disappointed I have tried all day to get a hold of someone in the commercial lending department and have not heard back from anyone. I have left multiple calls and texts with Scott Meigis. I have also send an email to the support email and left a message with the general commercial lending voicemail. Very frustrating. They seem to not want any business

I had the worst experience at this branch. I came in on my lunch break (since it’s right across the street from my job) to withdraw funds from my savings to take it to the GP branch since they know me there and Taviaun the teller at this branch would not give me my money. He didn’t seem confident in what he was telling me or doing as he kept going to the back to ask his manager questions.. He wouldn’t tell me what was going on only that he needed another approval .. I guess the first approval wasn’t enough?? the manger didn’t even come out to speak to me or take over if it was that serious.. He made me feel like I was a criminal when all I wanted to do was clear out my account that had MY money .

UPDATE: changed from 1 to 4 stars. They refunded me the late payment and called and apologized for not taking care of it in the first place. I had a 60 month(5 year loan) with them on a new vehicle. 58 straight payments without being late. Payment 59 stopped being sent by my bank because I originally set it up to stop automatic payments at the 5 year mark I bought my vehicle but it needed to go 2 months more. So I received a notice in the mail my payment wasn’t received and that day, a Friday, I send the payment in. They offer a grace period of 15 days and my payment was received 1 day past that grace period and they charge a $30 late fee and reviewed it and still charged a late fee. $30 is no big deal, but imagine if you actually had a larger issue and how they would treat you. Perfect for 58 months and one month something happens and they find it unacceptable. Well, I find that unacceptable. There is a reason they have low reviews and this just adds to it.

Better than most banks but far from perfect. I have been a member for several years and promised certain benefits for an account I have which turned out to be a lie. I requested to opt out of account overdraft 3 times however it never works (decline charges if I didn't have adequate funds instead of charging the account into negative and adding fees). Not all bankers are fully educated on the bank policies and products. It seems they are letting newer employees with little experience help customers with no one moderating the conversations, not the best.

      Response from the owner

I have been with Qualtrust/Texas Trust Credit Union since I began working at (GTE) Verizon in 1994. I have had three auto loans two of which I have paid off and working on the third for next year. I have always received outstanding service and everyone is always friendly and ready to help in any situation!

      Response from the owner

Thank you so much for your great review, John! We appreciate you leaving your feedback. Thank you for your long-time membership!

It’s time to make this a savings only account, can’t make deposits when you need too; very inconvenient.

Fantastic bank with local flavor. I can only imagine many of the negative reviews here are related to a non-service related issue. Every time I walk into the branch, they are super helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend Texas Trust for your regular banking needs and home mortgages.

      Response from the owner

Thank you for your 5-star review, Bill! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback and thank you for your membership!

This is now the 3rd time I've been told reparations would be made for failing to properly turn off my overdraft protection. I incurred 10 overdraft fees that I was told would be lifted my melissa at this branch. I was also told to call the number to give more info so to try and resolve the issue. I've called 2 times and have been told I would receive a call back but have received no calls or response. The issue I'm having now I did the due diligence to avoid this issue. Once I can reopen an account elsewhere i will no longer be doing business with this company.

I had a personal loan with TTCU that I paid off last year (3 years early). I checked my credit report last week and TTCU has reported this account as a charge off on my credit report, dropping my credit score by 95 points. I called and spoke with someone in their loan department and was told they are aware that this was reported in error but they don't have a time frame as to when it will be corrected. With everything going on at this time this unacceptable and needs to be corrected immediately. I'll continue to call until this is corrected with the credit bureau.

I have been a member for more than 20 years. The bank has gone downhill steadily over the years. When I go through the drive through I expect to wait 10 - 15 min... just to deposit money...with no cars in front of me. The customer service is horrible inside the bank as well. One teller was so rude, I left before depositing money and just kept my cash. Go somewhere else and save yourself the agony, really. I am switching banks. Consider yourself lucky if you have another bank.
