Absolutely the worst communication ever. I applied here 2 months ago and instead of doing a soft pull on my credit they did a MORTGAGE INQUIRY. This has dropped my credit 1 point and I wouldn’t be upset if someone just took the time to fix it.

Cannot get $40 and change for my business because I do not have an account. While other banks have a similar policy as long as you stay under $100 they will work with you. Thought credit unions were better than big banks.

      Response from the owner

We are sorry to hear that you didn't have a great experience at our branch, Rondal. We would love to assist you with your business needs and talk to you about how we can help. I came into this branch and was immediately greeted and seated by Carlos. After maybe 5min of waiting he checked on me and assured the status someone would be with me shortly. He actually ended up being the personal available to help me open my account. Very friendly, informative and fast. I made my deposit with a Hispanic woman, teller, who was just as helpful, cheerful and polite. I left thinking “wow that was pretty fast and the staff was so nice!” Great customer service led to a confident experience.

      Response from the owner

Wow, thanks for your review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. Welcome to the Texas Trust family, Stephanie!

This is bull, I tried to open an account and they told me I need two forms of Id to prove who I am. When I should just need my ID which is valid. And maybe my SSN but they need a check stub? That's ridiculous not to mention, not consumer friendly. I just wanted to open an account. And now I don't think I can trust them. Texas Trust is not cool how about you trust me, I don't have a second form either. So I guess I'm just sh*t out of luck.

      Response from the owner

We are sorry that you had some issues when trying to open an account with us, Mickel. We would like to assist you with this. Please give us a call at (972) 263-5171 or stop by a nearest branch. Amazing customer service!!!!! Best bank service ever!!!!! I've never been to a bank with such friendliness. Daniel the branch manager is awesome. I'm so grateful that he was able to resolve my issues on a time crunch. I realize now that banking with the credit union was the best decision I've ever made. Thank you so much Daniel ....you were a tremendous life saver. I appreciate you so much.

      Response from the owner

What a great review, Nancy! So glad that Daniel was able to provide great service! We appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback. Looking forward to your next visit!

Texas trust in general just sucks. They charge you ridiculous fees and don’t even warn you about it. Not to mention, when you try to contact the company, they are always no t available. I regret coming to this credit union, and I really don’t like it anymore.

      Response from the owner

We are sorry to hear that you haven't had a 5-star experience with us, Ali. We want to help. Please give us a call at (972) 263-5171 or leave us a secure message in Online Banking with details on your situation. Our team will look into it right away. Behind the times a little with technology. Staff on Pioneer in Arlington for the most part has been welcoming. Carlos, however, needs coaching I would say. Advised we're not allowed to recieve copies of documents we signed when we opened a business account. This is perfectly ok, but he went on to assure me the pamphlets/booklets he provided contained the same information I'd just signed too. I said ok, would you mind showing me where the verbiage I signed to is in the booklets (so I could read it vs what I signed too prior to leaving). His reply: "I don't know and I'm not gonna sit here and read it." My advice would be not to direct a consumer/customer to material you're unfamiliar with. Maybe actually learn those documents and booklets and have pre highlighted booklets ready in the event a customer isn't blindly signing something and actually wants to make sure things communicated are there as you're saying. Nonetheless, I would've never told a customer I'm not going to do anything, especially after I've referred them to it.

      Response from the owner

We are sorry that you didn't have a 5-star experience with us, Tiffany. Thank you for leaving your feedback. We will pass this onto our team for review. We hope your next experience with us is a great one. Thank you for being a member!

First credit union that my husband and I bank with and wow did Daniel Olvera answer all of our questions and concerns. He was able to assist us with becoming members and got us a great deal on a credit card! Daniels compassion to help his client is tremendous.

      Response from the owner

What a great review, Melissa! So glad that Daniel was able to help you in such a great way. Thanks for being members--we will see you again soon!

I love Texas Trust. They've always been fantastic. However...at this location...I referred a friend of mine and brought her in. She hates banks. I told her this is not a bank.. well, her card kept getting declined with money in the bank. Turns out the guy who set her account up entered wrong numbers. Wups!

      Response from the owner

Thank you for your great review, Kandis! Thanks for bringing in your friend and hopefully everything is working great now. We appreciate your feedback.

Came to open new account. No one greats you. Sign in on computer and sit around for hr watching personal bankers just talk and laugh in offices with each other. Guess they don't want new customers. Upper management needs to take closer look. Disappointed with my first Texas trust credit union experience.
