      We’ve been with Telco since we moved here in 2009. I love this credit union! They give money back to their customers, that’s what a credit union is, nonprofit! After we’d been here a year and my husband lost his job we just happened to win $750 at the ball game giveaway! I love having the manager know who I am and do things to help me without all the red tape. So different than the corporate experience of traditional banks.

      Waiting in line isn’t necessarily a reason to rate a place poorly. However, after I waited for 15-minutes for them to process two transactions ahead of me, I was told I would have to go to the back of the line to fill out a deposit slip with just seven fields of quick information that I had already prepared on my own deposit slip. The guy ahead of me also felt jilted since he was a long time customer (30 years) and they didn’t know who he was. I won’t be coming here if I can avoid it in the future.

      You can't beat Randy Bishop or the rest of the staff at the Tunnel Road Telco for customer service! Emails answered in a timely manner. They always know who I am and are able to help me with my account. Telco has saved our company's reputation with their overdraft program many times. The staff has personally walked us through setting up mobile app features and made sure that ATM overnight deposits are cleared before start of business. I find it comforting to know that we - our small construction company - are so well looked after!

      I have called for several days trying to speak to someone, anyone while the phone rings in rotation. No picks up the phone. I just moved here and wanted to open up an account with Telco. But I will transfer my money to a more reliable credit union.

      I've been with Telco since my previous local bank (Asheville Savings) sold out to big corporate. (Don't recall, a decade ago???) Wonderful banking experience. Great folks to deal with. Excellent security protection. I'd recommend Telco to anyone over commercial banking.

      I use the tunnel rd location, I have for 5 plus yrs. They have been great. Nice interest on savings. With a credit union you become an owner of the bank, I did not know this before I started my account. I feel like it's a completely different experience from a regular bank. Your not walking around with a $$$ on your forehead. I dont think I've ever been charged a fee instead of the usual, well we can override 1 out of the 5 overdraft fees, hmmmm, sorry only the bank manager can spank me.

      This bank is absolutely trash! I’m sitting in the drive though on Friday, August 6, 202. There is only one line open. The wait to get anything done is insane and needs to be addressed. This establishment is so bad they actually put my check into someone else’s account. This was on a Friday and there was absolutely no way to get a hold of anyone. I left the line blew my horn at them and gave them all the bird. This place is done.

      I’ve banked with Telco for years now - both personal checking as well as a business account and appreciate Telco and their team. I recently decided to purchase a vehicle - something that I have put off doing for a while because I wasn’t excited about the “process”. Amber did a fantastic job at arranging my financing smoothly and quickly. She worked well with the dealership and I am very happy with my interest rate. I will certainly continue to choose telco for banking and financing in the future!

      I moved my accounts over to Telco from Wells Fargo several years ago and haven't looked back since. I'm very thankful for the personalized service provided by the staff...especially Randy Bishop, who always goes above and beyond to meet my needs as a member. I wish I could give him 10 stars!

      I initially opened an small business account with Telco at their Leicester branch. The folks over there are extremely helpful, attentive and professional. I moved to the other side of town and now use the Tunnel Road branch. Complete opposite in every regard! The branch "manager" has told me he doesn't know how to do things, when I call and ask questions about my account and I'm redirected to yet another person. The tellers all seem to be new every time I go in, and even though there are 3 of them only one of them seems to be able to help anyone who walks in the door. 15 minute wait at the least. My card was recently stolen and I'm having to jump through hoops in order to retrieve the money that was spent! They didn't even seem to know the steps I needed to take to retrieve the money and acted very nonchalant about the whole thing. They said I need to file a police report before they can then file with Visa and dispute the charges! I will get laughed at if I try to file a report for charge to my card. I'm having to cut my loses on that because as a small business owner I don't have time to deal with a police report and all that nonsense - that should be my BANK'S job! I've already moved money to a new bank and will be closing my account in the upcoming days. I would highly recommend going elsewhere or finding ANY other local bank.
