      Not happy! Donna the manager is less than eager to help. Went in for a simple letter to indicate my account balance and she did not even attempt to hear what I want. Left the branch to another branch and they gave me the letter immediately.

      I'm writing this review for my mom, who frequents the Montville TD Bank. She usually doesn't write reviews, but she's very frustrated. Whenever she goes into the bank she has to wait for an unreasonable amount of time. At least 20 minutes. This would be ok if the bank was busy, but this happens when they have no one else to help. The employees are busy chatting amongst themselves and no one pays her any attention. They basically ignore her. She runs a business and is very busy, as most people are, and she believes that the bank isn't holding up the standard that other TD banks do (like the nearby Parsippany Branch where the service is excellent and the staff is very polite and attentive. Why go to the Montville Bank then? Her work is often in that town and it's more convenient to go their during her breaks.) This TD bank branch should review their employees and do something about the poor service to better serve customers such as my mom. And if anyone is wondering which location is best in that area, just go to the Parsippany location. As mentioned, they are much better at serving their customers.

      The employees are always nice and the associate who helped me set up my bank accounts was really nice. The ATM machine there is really easy to use and helps save some time when you don't have too much time to fill out the paper slip for deposits and withdraws

      The bank associate John was such a good dude. He helped us with a smile the entire time. He answered our questions and explained everything clearly while still being friendly. We came in a few minutes before closing and he even stayed late to accommodate us.

      TD Bank is a unethical bank. I would avoid doing business with them. In closing an account that got charged a $30 overdraft fee a $14 maintenance fee (BS to get around the fee limit). They inform us that if any automatic withdrawal hits the CLOSED account they will reopen the account, most likely with $100s in new fees. And there is nothing we can do so better make sure that the auto withdrawal doesn't happen. No option to deny charges that would cause an overdraft with them either. This all took over an hour as the tellers has no authority to help and there was no manager. Fortunately this was an old account so it was just an inconvienice for me, so I closed it. All I'm saying I don't judge a bank by how they treat people doing well, but on how they are willing to kick people when they are down.

      Well-meaning staff work at this location but lack effectiveness. There are too many instances where we'd spent hours with a rep only to find out weeks later that the info provided was incorrect or requests were unmet.

      Horrible bank in US. Requesting all not to open an account in TD bank. After 5 or 6 months they will make your account empty by so many different cause.
