Zack Martin (BabySkulls356)5So, I've been going through our local TCU branch since I was a high schooler. There's no shortage of banks, in our town, as any local well knows. However, there's many reasons why I've stayed with TCU. Firstly, they care about their members. It's easy to get frustrated, when you can't get the service help you WANT from a bank but remember that they're doing their job to the best of their ability within company policy and guidelines. But I've never had a complaint about the service, there. Not one. They're incredibly inclusive & in ways I didn't expect in a small town. I know how MANY people view the LGBTQIA+ community, so I've always had my guard up. Rather than making an issue, when it became apparent that I'm transgender and certain details of my membership make me uncomfortable, they asked if I'd like a note on my account so that I don't get misgendered or deadnamed (someone referring to me by my old name). I nearly cried, I was so moved. I finally said as much, this past week, because I wasn't sure how to leave a review (which they also helped with). I wanted them to know just how much it means to me that I can go to my bank and not feel judged, scrutinized, or insecure. When I say that they go above and beyond, I quite mean it. They're welcoming, happy to help with anything they can & inform you of other methods of they're unable to assist you, take time for their members, and so much more. If you need a bank with a team like this, TCU is certainly the bank for you.
Response from the ownerHello, Zack. Thank you so much for this heartfelt feedback. Here at TCU, we value our differences and strive to convey this through our team members. We have made it a focus to prioritize diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, and ensuring our members and team members feel they are valued, safe, included, respected, and justly treated regardless of their racial identity, faith, or gender. It is comforting to know that our members are experiencing this level of inclusion. Thank you for being a valued member and choosing TCU to service your financial needs. - Catrina Tate , VP of Retail and Co-Chair of TCU's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee

Nicole5I belong to a different credit union but came in here to cash a check yesterday since my branch is out of Indianapolis. All I had to do was fill out a short form with my account information. The cashed it no problem and no fees. The man who helped me was extremely friendly and helpful! I wish I could have more experiences like this when dealing with banks.
Response from the ownerHi, Nicole! Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We're so glad we could be of service and are happy to help anytime! Have a great day!

Leif Parker1'We're not in it to make money we are a non profit." She told me as she refused to assist me with a banking error that resulted in them charging me 32 dollars 10 times. She can only waive two of them. A simple mistake that could have happened to anyone and now I am in financial ruin because the 'nonprofit' is taking all of my money. I am so angry with them that I am permanently done and I have zero respect for any person employed there. I refuse to bank here any longer and Megan is the world's worst manager for doubling down on destroying us in our time of need.
Response from the ownerHello, Leif. Please know that I have forwarded your comments to a member of our Leadership Team for follow-up.
