  0 stars. I saw that I had been charged a $24 service fee. I called and talked to support. The lady was helpful and said back in Nov of 2020 they sent letters stating their checking account changes. I never received this letter and have had the same mailing address for years. They signed me up (without my permission) for the AIM account which requires monthly direct deposits of $4000 or a an account balance over $5000 to waive fees. I have never qualified for this. Today the support agent said I should be on the basic plan which is $1000 direct deposit or ballance of $1500. I can manage that. She transfered me to the Fairplay branch manager by the name of Mona Grillo. Mona said she sent letters to which I replied I never received them. She then replied saying "if I interrupt her then the conversation wouldn't go well for me". I was being polite and I just wanted to get the $24 given back to me as they took it upon themselves to sign me up for an account that would set me up to be charged a monthly fee each month. I asked, "the conversation wouldn't go well for me? " and stated I wouldn't have signed up for that account even If was opening a new account and that maybe with these unfair fees I should bank elsewhere after 6 years of banking with TBK Fairplay. She said "mkay sounds good" and hung up on me after 50 minutes of being transferred around. Over $24. Mona, you are a disgrace and my 3 year old son has more compassion that you. You deserve to be fired. And shame on the reginal manager for ignoring my plea for help with this unprofessional branch manager you have employed. I can't wait to show up tomorrow and rip my funds out of this bank and close the account. I have 15 or more friends and employees who bank here as well who will be closing their accounts along with me after hearing how disgraceful and unprofessional the management is.. Hopefully after your location loses tens of thousands of dollars from closed accounts they'll start treating the locals with more respect.

  In the single month I have had an account here I have been charged $54 in fees for the $200 I opened the account with. I got a plane ticket for $100 and that’s the only transaction Iv ever made. They opened me the wrong account that requires a 1500 minimum balance. I have not even used the account twice since opening!! I’d give it zero stars if I could. The woman at the front desk was not the least bit polite and would not even close the account because she said if I closed the account I would get fees.. worst bank in the world! I though my old bank was bad with a monthly 35$ fee but TBK bank takes the cake in worst bank with highest fees ever for literally NOTHING!

  This is by far the worst bank in the history of ever! If you are planning on getting an account here please don't. They are a bunch of crooks. Their policy is total BS. They have screwed me left and right. Please and I mean please don't make the same mistake I made unless you want to make the bank money while you loose your hard earned cash. Its highway robbery at its finest. They don't send emails out or give you any notice when you are overdrafted and later rather than sooner you will realize that an automatic withdrawal that you never authorized has overdrafted 5 or more times. 30 dollars every 5 days! Then if you don't use your account they will close it within 30 days even if you have money in the account. They will also give you the wrong routing number when you need he info making it a total hassle to get anything done. Banking with tbk fair Play branch is the biggest mistake ive ever made in my life and that is saying something!!! If I could rate it lower than 1 star I would. It deserves a steamy pile of s**t instead.

  I was charged of an Online deposit. Was $8 then i came in to bank and cashier cashed check, $8 was never refunded lol yes they are crooks watch your deposits and your money. You have no choice but to bank here, now is $8 if it happens again I'm getting a lawyer for taking the time to their jobs!

  The awesome staff at the TBK bank in Fairplay went the extra mile for me today. I goofed up and left a blank check for 2000 bucks in an envelope while trying to deal with an issue on one of several accounts I'm tied to. Went in today with little hope. The personnel were fastidious and extremely helpful with my plight. They went through the shredder boxes and found the check! Thank you to my friends at the bank!

  Dont trust the atm, it stole 300 dollars from me. Tbk ran me around in circles trying to get it back. They said come back tomorrow well have an answer for you. I came back, then it was come back monday and well have an answer for you. I came back and was told they wouldnt know till wednesday. After leaving crying and frustrated they gave me a letter saying they will be granting me a 300 dollar credit until they can approve my claim. it took 2 whole months for my "answer", the claim was shown to be true. So i got my 300 back. But i wouldnt waste my time with them again. Theyve screwed me multiple times and ran me around in circles on multiple occassions. One person says one thing the next has no idea and then asks another person who says something completely opposite.

  Shouldn't even be a 1 star. I have been depositing checks over $1000 and now I am only allowed $500 on mobile deposit. Which makes the app trash and useless. Quit messing with people's accounts without their permission. So Illegal.

  I've been waiting over three weeks for my debit card still not around. You should go with another bank. US Bank delivered my neighbor his card in seven days! That's banking...

  Someone stole my card and over charged it tried to close out the account and IM STUCK PAYING ALL THE FEES to close out the card. The worst bank I've ever been to. I'd rather trust my 3 year old with all my money.
