  They are nice people. I bought a house and was recommended them by my loan officer. Just a kinda hurry up deal. Im now realizing they are a middle man. The insurance they gave me I’ve never heard of. I will be canceling soon and going with my local State Farm. Whom has beat the deal they gave me. Nice ppl. Nothing against them. I just don’t like middle man companies.

The owner of Tatum Insurance, John Austin Tatum, is a stellar salesperson, great with same-day follow-ups, and really has his customers' backs. I use Tatum for my homeowners insurance, my car insurance, my business general liability insurance, and even for builders risk insurance. Saving money; If you are are in the market for affordable insurance policies around Abilene, TX, Tatum is where you'll find it. John has willingly taken the time to find me great deals when my rates went up, changed, or didn't fit my needs - I've saved a large sum with Tatum without sacrifices coverage. The insurance is all high-quality as well, and the coverage is on par (or better) with the bigger agencies - just local, and not run in every aspect by a corporation. Lastly, the office personnel; Lisa and the rest are very polite, organized and helpful - all things that I want as a business owner, father, and entrepreneur - when things get tough, I feel confident that Tatum will get back to me with quick solutions to my insurance needs (other agencies I've been with in the past tend to have a communication gap between what needs to be done and taking initiative to get results) The new office is worth stopping by as well - very nice place! - KRO

  My wife and I recently moved from Washington state to Abilene. We had our insurance carrier transfer all our policies to Texas and upon the premium notices, we made the decision to shop our account. John Austin was able to re-market our entire account at a SUBSTANTIAL savings and explained the differences in coverage between the two states.
