      Complete lack of business knowledge from their employees regarding credit operations. Customer service can not answer questions relating to the banks actions or operations. Ive now talked with 3 different people that should understand the simplest questions. The inexperience of their employee's and knowing these folks have access to your information is scary. Inability to hold an intelligent conversation about banking, credit processing, account handling ect.. Trust me. Find another banking institution to use. One that can handle your concerns properly. You wont regret using a smarter banking company other then Synchrony.

      Had a JCPenney card through Synchrony for a year, anytime the card was used, would pay balance in full. Have carried a zero balance on the card for 9 months and out of nowhere, they cancel my account due to my balance being high on another card. I guess they did me a favor!!

      Credit card false-alarms as "fraud" detection in ways HYPERSENSITIVE to other banks (asI have >20 credit cards, I'm a bit of an expert on this ;-) ), then they make you JUMP THROUGH HOOPS unheard of at other banks, to get your card re-activated. My card had a promise of "get $200 back for spending $1,500 in the first 90 days" and they needed to MAIL me a code so the card was unusable for >50% of those 90 days. UNHEARD OF bad policies. and reviews outside of Googlemaps are JUST AS BAD: Customer reps aren't bad, but the POLICIES from TOP execs are killing this company.

      My husband and I applied for a RTG account and was financed with Synchrony Bank. if we would of known beforehand it was with this horrible institution we would have waited and just paid for our adjustable bed. This company has extremely high fees and change payment amounts at any given time without notice. This is definitely a negative learning experience!!

      Extremely corrupt corporation. Mattress Express should drop them immediately. I have never been late on a payment, yet they reported me delinquent. When they were found at fault, they closed my account. They claimed it was due to delinquencies on my credit report. The only delinquencies on my credit report were the ones they falsely reported and were forced to delete.

      I had to finance some dental work through Syncrony (care credit account) and I made my first payment well in advance and far above the minimum payment. Two and a half weeks AFTER the money was successfully pulled from my bank account, I receive an email letting me know that my synchrony account was past due and that a late fee had been applied to my minimum payment. SAY WHATTTTT??? Obviously, I contact them right away and they have absolutely no explanation as to what happened and threw the hot potato back at me saying that I needed to check with my financial institution. Long story short, my bank can find no trace of that money being returned to me, synchrony says they don't have it LOL and after countless calls, I ended up having to send them a fax from my bank as proof that I made the payment. Now I "only" have to wait ONE TO TWO BILLING CYCLES (whattttttttt?!?!?) for them to figure out what happened. They had the audacity to ask if, in the meantime, I wanted to make another payment to cover the minimum amount due + late fee. I know the souls of my ancestors where holding me down when I declined the offer while remaining civil. I told them that they can take all the time they want, but until my money is found, I will make no further payments and that if any of this ends up on my credit report, I will take legal action. And I WILL. Scammers.

      Was called and told I was approved for financing for the Pixel 4 and that my welcome package was on its way as they partnered with Google for this service, later I called to get my account number as I needed to order the phone asap and was told I had been denied. I have no problem with being denied, I do have an issue with being blatantly told false information and then making no effort to correct it. Seems I've dodged a bullet

      Never in my life I’ve seen worst customer service than this company. I am so glad that Capital One bought Walmart Credit Card from this company so i dont ever have to deal with them again. Agents are super rude because Supervisors are exactly the same. All these “customer service agents” show NOT WORK IN A CALL CENTER THEY HAVE NO EMPATHY, NO ACTIVE LISTENING SKILLS AND SIMPLY DONT CARE.

      1 hour on the phone to access my account and make a payment. Could not access my account, which was active and I had been there before. Had to search google for a phone number; when my call was answered by a machine and I entered my account number, it told me they didn't understand. Did it again, still no success. Finally got a person (obviously not in the USA) and was asked for my social security number. ALL 9 DIGITS! No way. They gave me another phone number to call. Wrong department. THEY gave me another phone number to call and we finally got Jada to help me. Account now paid in full but 1 hour trying to make the payment? Outrageeous!! I agree with all the above reviews and I will make a complaint to Lowes as well. Never again with syncphony (synchrony). Bad news

      Just plain fraud and nobody calls them out. Thinking that 3% interest promo looks good? Try buying something then pay it off and the money you just paid only goes to that fixed rate promo. The worst, Lowes and Amazon both deal with them.
