  WORST BANK IN BAY CITY, 4/30/2022 : BANK HAS SYSTEM FAILURE , CANNOT CHECK BALANCES NO WITHDRAW ANYTHING OVER 100.00, WILL NOT GIVE OUT ANY DOCUMENTATION STATING THEY HAD SYSTEM FAILURE. this is not the only issue, who ever is in the early am M- F within the loan department (woman) chews food while she is on the phone , the one with the pale complexion . and another one" this bank has random trainings, and CLOSES on those days with only "clip art style letters" put a message on your website. This bank is pure example of what happens when rich people buy a small bank , they staff it poorly and leadership stinks. I cannot wait till my loans are paid off here, screw this place. and my payments are 100 percent on time

  Tellers start around $10 an hour. Stressful environment with customers who treat the staff terribly. Nonstop stress. For all of you complaining about service, the staff members who deal with your money directly make less hourly than starting wage at a fast food restaurant. Berated and insulted by members regularly. Overworked and severely underpaid.

  I have been at this bank for 6 years never had a problem till now. Wanted to apply for a mortgage didn't get help was told to go online. Never applied for one before and got no help. Just had a white haired lady tell me I didn't sign the withdraw paper. I signed it at the window and showed her I signed it. 15 minutes with the line backed up finally got my money. Same lady has messed up on my cashier checks.

  Use to be a great place. However, like the rest of the bussiness sector, service has hit an all time low. It seems, since the so called pandemic Employees got use to not dealing with people and they want to keep it that way.

  I was a member at Sunrise for 30 years. Sadly, after one too many errors on their part, I left. The employees lack training and basic knowledge of their system. I had to educate an employee on a specific process (after she went to get the manager n which the manager confirmed I was correct). In addition, they would rarely ask for my account password. Also, I had large amounts of money taken out of my account for one month - they sent a letter to the person stealing my money. Unbelievable. I should have reported this to the authorities at the time, however, they said they were taking care of it (which took one month). I have never met such unprofessional employees while at Sunrise and am very happy elsewhere now. Dr. Smith

  Use to love sunrise family credit card union and they gave my wife and I the best interest rates for vehicle loans. Recently my wife and I had our first child and we had issues getting a new title for my wife's vehicle to them, and miscommunication between my wife and I not knowing she wasn't able to get them the title now they're refusing to give us any loans. We've been with them since my first car loan and unfortunately now we will be going somewhere else, though not like we have a choice, I do feel no loyalty on their end. I've always made my payments and never messed around. Oh well, I guess it's time to search for another bank as I already have a bank in Midland where I live for checking and savings as there is no sunrise in Midland. If you do go here ask for Nate, he's the best, and friendliest person there in my opinion. He's awesome 5/5 for him.

  Not the first time this has happened recently....pulled up to the drive thru before 5 and they were closed. And I was rudely told they were closed. The lobby isn’t open due to COVID. Keep your hours as the are posted. The people that have to work for a living need to bank too.

  Thw worst bank in bay city. The people that answer the phone are extremely rude and condescending. They refuse to help what so ever. I'll be clearing my account and going else where and telling everyone I know not to use them.

  If I could give a 0 I would. Terrible terrible bank. After closing my account for 4 years and being told twice that my credit was payed off They are STILL taking money out of me. I will be contacting anyone higher up in the company and finding a lawyer.

  Use to be one of the best. Service is HORRIBLE! Workers are VERY unacknowledged. Had 4 loans and been a member for many years. I don't know what happened , but last year service is appalling. Many better options in town.
