  2014, I applied for a loan and Sun Loan was amazing. No issues, great service, and was just an overall pleasure. Fast forward to 2021, and due to some unforeseen circumstances, my account was in collections for the past almost 7 yrs, and I finally had the means to attempt to settle the debt. As I called to speak with someone, I was connected to "Latecia" (not sure of the spelling) in an attempt to negotiate a settlement. Initially, she (Latecia) was somewhat pleasant. As we were negotiating, I stated that I was able to get a better percentage settlement with another debt I had settled, when she proceeded to tell me that I "should have handled it better". I kindly let her know that I am sure we could have all handled things better at some point in our lives, and proceeded to end the call. Ms. Letecia is completely ignorant to mine or anyone else's situations, and unfortunately lost hold of her professionalism, which is very unfortunate. Needless to say, I called back to settle the debt despite not agreeing with the settlement, but it was my debt and had to be addressed. The debt is now settled. Honestly, my intentions are not to bash the company in any way, and as a former business owner, I understand the importance of reviews. So I will be giving the company overall 4 stars, because as whole, they were good to me. I hope Ms. Latecia does however work on her professionalism a bit more. Keep up the good work Sun Loans. I am a Bryan native and know many people that you all have helped.

  I have had loans before at other places, but my experience at Sun Loan Company is by far the BEST. The staff are so genuinely welcoming. I don't feel like I am just another customer. I will not go anywhere else, but here in the future and I highly recommend them!
