  Meghan Jeffreys at Summit Funding offered substantial expertise in guiding us through the loan process as we purchased our home. She was readily available to answer our questions, made complex steps easy to understand and provided clear instructions, and overall got us through it with a minimum of stress. The assistants and others we worked with at various steps were all communicative and helpful, too. We highly recommend Meghan and Summit for your home loan needs!

  I was using my primary bank of 35 years for a mortgage loan and after retirement they got real demanding about income paperwork, even though they could see my nest egg and that the funds were being deposited into my checking account with them. I switched over to Laynie and Summit Funding Inc. in Lewiston ID. and the loan process was smooth sailing. Everyone on the team was super friendly and kept me apprised of how things were going. My only complaint would be underwriting seemed to be pretty nit picky. If I've been paying my current mortgage on time for 21 years I'm probably not going to start being late on a payment, especially with a pending loan application. Anyway, other than that all was good, and great followup even after we moved into the new house.
