  If you're in the Eureka area and need a home loan, come see Tara Johnson at Summit Funding. Don't waste time on the local mortgage broker who may offer you high interest rates, high points, or tell you that you can't get a conventional loan. After a terrible experience with one local broker, Tara was our saving grace. Our realtor recommended her and we could not be happier! She got us our loan at a decent interest rate and we are loving our new (to us) home.

  Worst experience ever, Tara Johnson took months to close the sell of my house. With 4 extensions and several excuses on why things were delayed I would highly recommend anyone selling/buying a house to stay far away for her at Summit funding.

  Incredibly unprofessional. Tara and Eileen do not respond to emails or phone calls. After spending weeks going back and forth with them and providing required documentation (which was not easy to get) Tara assured me she would "get back to me soon" on multiple occasions. Now, 3 months later and dozens of unreturned emails and phone calls, I have nothing but wasted time. Stay away!

  Martin Swett w/ Summit Funding did some pretty amazing foot work to us into my first home! When Everything looked like mission imposdible Martin and his assistant Jennifer Fraser made everything Possible. Got the deal closed with a better rate than projected, lower than norm closing costs and all around created a future relationship! What an Awesome to team to be included into.   I had a wonderful experience with Martin and Jennifer from Summit funding. As a first time home buyer I didn’t have a lot of knowledge beforehand of the process but they both took the time to explain and educate me each step of the way. They were always available if I had questions or needed clarification and never made me feel like a bother. Thank you so much
