      I've worked and gone to school down the road from Steve Lewis for a few years now, but i've always gone through Bertera Subaru in West Springfield for sales and service because of their discounts on sales and service. On the other side of the coin, Berteras' sales team is awful, they have poor customer service, and twice now the sales team attempted to bully me into giving the, higher reviews then they deserved. Needless to say, I decided for my third Subaru that I would Give Steve Lewis a try. I was very happy I did. When you walk into the dealer, they have a very clean and open sales floor, with a friendly salesman or woman there to greet you. The sales team was fantastic to work with, and the delivery experience was first rate. Ive bought a few vehicles over the years, and this experience was one of the best. A special shout out to Eric, whom i worked with. He was not only fantastic to work with, but was very knowledgeable of the product and explained things in a way that was very straight forward and friendly. Be sure to give him a ring sometime, you wont regret it.

      Great buying experience. I got a 4-year-old used truck from them. The salesman, Doug, was fair & helpful. I was satisfied with the deal & happy that they didnt waste much time on the upsells (once i made my frugality known!) What really sets these guys apart is their integration of service with sales. I live an hour away, so it was nice that i only had to go there once, for the test drive & contract, everything... they later delivered the car to my workplace in CT. When delivered, it was immaculate. They had put it thru service, and along with a check-up & full synth oil change, they gave it a new batt & rear shocks! This is amazing to me. I didnt pay for this, and it wasnt in any agreement, verbal or written. They just did it. And i hadnt noticed any problems with the ride or starting when i test drove it. How can you beat this for a car dealer? When im next looking for a new car, this will be the first spot i look.

      This is the third vehicle that I have purchased from Steve Lewis Subaru, this time choosing the Crosstrek. For those of you that have worked with me in these transactions, you have found that I am not an emotional buyer, but rather have to gather my facts, including car specs and independent reviews. What I greatly appreciate about Steve Lewis Subaru (and my salesperson, Tyler) is that there is virtually no pressure to make an immediate purchase. I also appreciate that I am treated with great respect as a woman purchasing a car, something that I found to not hold true at other dealerships in the past. In the case of my first Forester, I came back a number of times to test drive vehicles, as I was torn between models, the Outback being my first choice. Sales personnel were patient and allowed me to come to my own decision with no pressure. Once it came to financing, the process was painless (save the time it takes to do so, as these things go) and I believe that they offer the best terms possible to returning customers. And once a member of the Steve Lewis "family", service appointments are a breeze and I have never had a problem reaching someone during business hours to ask questions. Genuinely nice people to work with.

      When we bought my wifes 2013 outback in 2014 from Steve Lewis we left tye dealership thinking how great and easy of an experience we had purchasing the car. We signed up for the free tires program if we got all our service done there thinking not having to buy tires when the time comes for new ones would be a huge help. The first few service appointments the customer service was great. That slowly started to change and now the customer service is no where near what it used to be. Back in August at our oil change appointment they said we needed tires so we tried multiple times to get an appointment set up for the "free tire program" only to be given the run around and not be called back at least 6 times. When they finally called back we were told the tire loyalty program was void because we were late on an oil change. My wife talked to the service manager and he came back with the best they could do for us is get us a price of $500 for new tires. In other words Steve Lewis Subabru showed their true colors and are not honoring the program because life happens and we were late on an oil change. We still got every single oil change done there we were just overdue on one oil change so now they voided the program on. Thanks for showing your true colors Steve Lewis Subabru, we love Subaru but you can be sure our next one will come from another Subaru dealership. You have lost the opportunity to have life long customers with us and I hope this review deters others from believing Steve Lewis is a step above other dealers.

      First time buying a car. Brian Kane helped me every step of the way. Brain was so accommodating, listed to all my questions, and responded clearly and thoroughly. My dog was with me and was treated with so much respect. Thank you Brian Kane for making this experience one to remember.

      Needed a service appointment was told 6 weeks until earliest time. Car is 6 months old and the dash looks like a Christmas tree, Subarus are lame and so is this dealer.

      This is a horrible Subaru dealership. If you can drive 30 minutes farther go to Bertera Subaru in West Springfield. They are more friendly and their service is much better. Even, I purchases a new Crosstreck (with more features than the one that I quoted at Steve Lewis) for almost $2000 cheaper! Bertera is more flexible and they accepted payment methods that Steve Lewis even didn’t want to consider. And this is not the worst part, their service department has the most annoying and rude people that you can imagine. One of the person was extremely unfriendly and after being told that I could go at any time to get fixed something on my car when I went there he told that they are too busy and can’t help me in a very rude way. His coworker clearly noticed how rude he was and tried to help me. However, when he realized that my car was purchased somewhere else he told “oh sorry, then we can’t help you, go there if you want to, if you want to be helped here we can do it in a month that we have appointments”. One of the managers observed this incident and he came to apologize for what happened and tried to see if there was a way to help me and he said that he will report this incident to their general manager. Right after this incident I drove to Bertera Subaru and they helped me immediately. Their staff in the service department were very knowledgeable and super friendly.

      I came to Steve Lewis Subaru for two reasons. 1) I fell in love with my friends new car 2) I have heard nothing but good things about Steve Lewis for years. We dropped in minutes before closing on a Sunday. Glen met us and stayed to answer questions. I had read that the newly redesigned Forester was amazing. Glen was knowledgeable about the car, which had not yet been released. After test driving the current Forester and an Outback I decided I wanted to get the new Forester. Glen was instrumental in expediting delivery. He was responsive to questions as we waited for the car to arrive. Start to finish, an excellent experience. .

      Four family vehicles purchased here in the last 2 years and the buying experience was very good. I have however become very discouraged with the service department in terms of timely repairs. I had my 17 Forester XT looked at in April for no AC. They could not find an issue so put dye in the system to detect any slow leaks. Fast forward to the first warm day (5/27/19) and the AC is blowing warm!! I called to have the problem they did not solve on visit#1 looked at and they tell me it will be 8 weeks! ( If your scheduled out that far you need to evaluate your service resources IMO!!) I said i could not work with that given the vehicle had been in once and they could NOT repair it! Even after a second look it will be a month before they can see it! I wonder if the Dye will even still be there! As a business person myself i'm not tolerant of poor or untimely service, and i my opinion a month wait for an unsolved previous problem is not good customer service!
