State Employees’ Credit Union Reviews

Doug Hyman1Disappointed by the lack of acknowledgement from your teller Kate that was sitting closest to the door today. When a non-minority older male client walked in and she greeted him immediately. This was clear bias. If she was in the middle of something then I recommend greeting the customer with a notification that she would be free in a moment and additionally, find a workspace out of customer view to avoid this type of poor experience where she acknowledged one customer that she could help him and ignored the other. Please provide equity and customer service training immediately Kate. I did not expect this type of experience at SECU. The gentleman teller that was helping at the window came over immediately when he noticed I wasn’t being helped. I commend him for the great experience but didn’t see his name at his workstation.

Jane Baker5It is by far the most positive banking experience I have ever had. I had to wait for little while to be helped but when I Flo call me to her station she welcomed me with a good morning and a warm smile. She apologized for me waiting and was quick to handled my transactions. She noticed I was not feeling well and asked if I was ok. I told her that I had a headache. She offered me some of her Motrin pills and even gave me one of her bottles of water. I was overwhelmed by the friendliness and by how genuine she was. Flo also gave a lot of helpful information about other services the credit union offers, briefly told me about investments and other accounts that would help my assets grow. I can't thank her enough for making my day better and for having such a nice personality.

Barrett Blackmon1Extremely unprofessional service at this location. Doing the job is clearly not part of anyone's job here.
