They knew something was not right and handled the situation with professionalism as well as grace. So so thankful my mom had these ladies looking out for her!!

I’ve been trying for DAYS to get in touch with a real person...or heck even an automated response that doesn’t ring and send me back to “the main menu”.:...tried the local numbers as well as the toll free number and it’s all the same!!!!!......JUST .RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!

Tim Harbin5Met with Megan Granger about the merger that took place with Spero and AFCU to make sure I understood everything. Ms. Granger assisted me and help me to fully understand everything. The topic of a refi came up and she made some suggestions and had Mortgage Department contact me, and WOW they were able to offer me a rate almost 2% lower than my current rate and over 1% better than another local "Big" bank. Everyone I have met at Spero has been so nice, caring, and just wonderful to work with. I can't forget the teller at the drive through who every time I have been through her line always says "Have a blessed day" . This branch is top notch. I am so thankful to be doing business with them.

Logan Hood1Absolutely terrible. I've begun the transition from Anderson Federal and can't access my account via online banking, nor can I reach a representative over the phone. The automated voice is a revolving door as you will never get anyone on the phone. My money will be transferred from this credit union immediately.....of course as SOON AS I CAN ACCESS IT!!!!!!

Brandon Byrum2I have been banking with the AFCU for almost a decade. These last few years have been nothing but a series of frustrating events. They sent mail to the wrong address, so I changed my address with an official form. Multiple times. Here it is, almost two years after that and they have no record of an address change. Three times, they have frozen or flat out deactivated my debit card for "theft or fraud activity". That part doesn't bother me, but they did it all three times, it was done without any attempt to contact me. And attempting to call the bank branch is like pulling teeth. I have never called the bank and had someone answer the phone. It always either goes to an answering machine or gives me an error message. The few times I have been able to finally get someone to call me back, they have largely been unhelpful. I rarely say I'm going to change something, but like I said, there has been issue after issue with them. I have tried sticking it out with the credit union, but I think that my time with them has come to an end.
